After receiving training, Thomas is taken to a world called Harmony. The Erza who are the inhabitants of Harmony believe that Thomas is their prophesied hero called the Liberator, who would lead them to freedom from foreign invaders. There, Thomas learns firsthand the art of war as he struggles to save the Erza from ruthless alien leader, Supreme Commander Konif'on, who has aspirations of rebuilding a grand galactic military.
Author Ronald T. Jones did an excellent job with description, characters and setting the mood throughout the entire story. He actually makes you feel as if you were standing in the middle of a heated conflict as he takes the reader through the battle on Harmony. The story's pacing was perfect as Thomas is taken from his meager existence on Earth to eventual hero on Harmony.
This is a book that is definitely worth the time to read. Bravo
What happens when under achiever Thomas Jackson finds himself on a bus with a couple of whack jobs on a killing spree? He gets yanked 45,000,000 light years from earth of coarse. Author Ronald Jones, is as calculating as Likir; a high ranking member of an advanced war-like species who has dire plans for Thomas.
Chronicle of the Liberator is an intense military science fiction saga that follows a lone human across space and time. Thomas must undergo brutal training under the tutelage of Likir, lead the subjugated Erza on a campaign to free their home world, and commit an act so heinous, that it could topple an entire civilization.
Thomas Jackson is a pawn in a game bigger than the Milky Way, and I was held captive right along with him. A must read.
Edward Uzzle, author of Retro-KM: Lord of the Landlords, and NETERS.
Though his amazingly flawless depictions of eccentric lifeforms, yet to be invented gadgets and thingamajiggs, and equally odd events keep you glued to the page; it is his gift of delivering action-packed battle scenes that seals the fate of this novel. Jones's settings are bizarrely intriguing and his characters and plot twists are equally so. Chronicle of the Liberator is first rate Science fiction that is as quick-witted and thoughtful as any its class. A must read for lovers of Sci-fi and fisticuffs!
