About the Author
Cynthia is the 2002 winner of the Edith Thompson Award for Juvenile Literature, and in addition to serving as an occasional columnist in her local newspaper, has written and directed drama for schools and churches. Her youth drama "Dare to be Different" has been recently published by Contemporary Drama Service, a division of Meriwether Publishing Ltd. Cynthia is currently teaching at a Christian school where she has had the opportunity to develop and teach art, drama, and library curriculum.
Through an early version of her website, Cynthia found an outlet for combining her interest in youth work and passion for writing. The Chrysalis, her first novel, began as a chapter a week series on the website. She is now looking forward to ministering to teen girls full time through promotion of The Chrysalis and maintaining her website.
Cynthia also enjoys camping, reading with her kids, traveling to new places, and family time.
