Comment: Our vinyl records are visually graded based on a simplified version of the Goldmine grading system as outlined below. Grading vinyl is a subjective process and we expect that collectors of vinyl will understand that we have done our best to ensure our customers get what they are paying for. Complete satisfaction is our goal; please contact us with any questions. NEAR MINT (NM) A brand new LP with the shrink wrap removed would be considered "near mint". VERY GOOD (VG) An LP that has clearly been well taken care of will be graded "very good". There may be signs of use, but not anything that will affect playability. The sleeve may have a wrinkle or two and the jacket may have bumps and bruises on the corners but overall, unless you're looking for a perfect copy, a "very good" LP will be perfectly acceptable. GOOD (G) A "good" LP will be well used and it will be obvious, but that does not mean it will not be acceptable. The vinyl will play without skipping if the turntable is properly adjusted. There may be static or other noise, especially during extremely quiet passages, but the noise will not overpower the material. The sleeve and jacket will be in similar condition; not perfect but decent overall. Chapter Two Online does not sell records that fall below this standard. Our records are well taken care of, packaged properly and shipped with care.

Like Coke and Cadillacs, Chuck is the real thing and always will be! Unfortunately there hasn't been many live recordings that truly capture the essence of the greatest Rock'n Roll artist ever. This album, however, gives you one side of how great the guy can work a room. If you listen closely you'll realize how much control Chuck has over his audience and that is simply due to the fact of how much he is loved. Listen to the crowd's "send off" and you'll understand what I mean. I read somewhere that this album was originally supposed to be all "live" tracks. However, much of the tape recording was unusable. That's a crime. The first side, the studio set is just a filler. The second side is a blast and Chuck actually seems to be enjoying himself. The album gets five stars just for the "live" side. Buy it, cut to the start of "Reelin and Rockin" and sit back and listen to Rock'n Roll the way it was meant to be played and performed by the guy who started it all!

Side A has a nice collection of 1970s-flavored 50s' Rock n Roll -- excellent tracks by Chuck Berry. But it is the Side B that is absolutely legendary!! (OK, OK, this is a CD so there is only one side! LOL!!) By 1972, when this live recording was made in England, Chuck Berry was already an "older" performer of older music. Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin were at the top of the charts. Keeping all of that in mind, it is here, really, that Chuck Berry shows his mastery. He ROCKS the house, and at the same time he is incredibly charming --- and it is clear that he has developed a special bond with the entire venue!! So that by the time Chuck Berry has played his last note of the show, leaving the thousands of young fans chanting "We want Chuck! We want Chuck!" -- it is absolutely hilarious to hear the concert promoters trying to plead with the crowd to leave the building. They even threaten to cancel the Pink Floyd concert! "We don't get a Pink Floyd concert if you don't leave the place -- it's as simple as that!!! THIS IS THE MANAGEMENT!!!" Hilarious!! This recording should actually be "Required Listening" in every high school in America!!

Side 2 of this album really captures Chuck Berry in concert. It's a whole lot of fun that leaves you wanting more. Side 1 is Chuck Berry in the studio in the 70's. This should be released on CD. Unfortunately, it never made the transition. It is a VERY good collection.

I loved this album as a kid and used to listen to it over and over. I am so glad to have the CD now to listen to and bring back memories of my youth. Probably the best record the great Chuck Berry ever put out!

What a great album! You can't help but love Chuck Berry after listening to this. I've seen all the greats live, except for him. (It takes a big effort to get out of Alaska for concerts nowadays). My Ding-a-Ling must have been fun song to be there for.

First person to review this, huh? This is a great album that is split nicely between strong studio cuts and great, energetic live cuts. Recommended for anyone who is a fan of pure rock music.

What is there not to like? 1/2 of (Small) Faces playing behind the guitar King of Rock n Roll? Great Sessions in London! It's becoming hard to find CD. Get it while it's still available.
