With the launcher we can throw the ball across an acre and give our dogs a really good workout. The balls bounce high when thrown that far. The dogs love it and it's great for getting their energy out. Also great for the lake because the balls float, stay buoyant and are easy for the dogs to grab in the water.
Cost more than tennis balls but they last longer, and my dogs are worth it. 5 stars.
4-29-14: Our 3 large labs are still gaga over chuck-it balls!
After 7 years and countless hours of fetch, no problems with ball safety.
Also, they're bright orange which makes locating them easier, especially in the dark. They're still chewy, so he loves them. They are TOUGH. They float and bounce high...they're not very heavy.
These also fit in the ChuckIt thrower...
****Tennis balls are DANGEROUS to your dogs....they break apart and can cause impactions, AND the glue will eat away at the enamel on your dogs teeth. Buy these balls instead, you won't be sorry.

The Chuckit balls have a nice bounce to it. They are hallow in the center so there's leeway when the dog chews on these.
To watch my dog's review, watch the video. Her obsession with this ball says it all. By the time I took this video she'd been powerchewing on this ball for four hours.
Update 3 May 12: The balls are still intact. Amazing! No tennis ball lasted this long.
To give you an idea of who much of a heavy chewer our girl is, she can destroy a sold Kong if given the chance!
I by chance, stumbled across these rubber balls one day whilst looking for yet another indestructible toy.
Well, what can I say! I have at last found the Holy Grail of indestructible balls! what a relief!
Our girl simply LOVES these and spends hours just squeezing them in her mouth, she seems to love the sensation of this.
These bounce great, are brightly colored so stand out in the grass and best of all our solid rubber.
They also fit perfectly in a tennis ball chucker.
If you need a really hard wearing, good quality ball, for those dogs who love to destroy, look no further, stock up on these, I certainly will be.
We loved these so much, we recently purchased the small size for out little Boston Terrier who absolutely loves these too!
They last absolutely ages!
You will not be disappointed!!
I like it because it seems to be less of a choking hazard. Kelsy has been chasing and chewing on regular tennis-ball size balls for years with out any problems, but I feel the larger ball stands even less of a chance of getting lodged in her throat through some freak accident.
I suppose the downside is that it costs more and you have to buy a new launcher. Kelsy and I agree that she's worth the extra expense. It's not like I have to pay for her college tuition.

We have been using these for over a month and three are holding up great. That may not sound like a long time but my dog loves balls, however she is so abusive to them. Read morePublished 1 hour ago by Pamela B

Pretty much the best balls for fetch. My dog prefers these to all others we've tried. She does tend to just run away with them to try to bury them, but, at least she's running.Published 2 days ago by Takara
Best balls by far, slippery when wet, but they do float. Far better than a regular tennis ball as there is no yellow fuzz to wear down your dogs teeth.Published 2 days ago by K T
