The Glassfloat Classic floating eyeglass retainer has been our best selling flotation eyewear retainer since its intro in the '90s. It fits most frames and will float up to 45g (1.5 oz.), making it perfect for all but the heaviest glasses. The foam-filled woven poly is quick-drying and comfortable on the skin.

I honestly did not expect these to work with my glasses, so I also ordered the Pilot Fish No-Tail (looks secure but doesn't float). I thought that something secure would be all it could get, and hoped that would keep them on whenever I fall in the water. Turns out the Pilot Fish is not usable with the skinny arms of my Rydons. I tried the Pilot Fish on another pair of glasses, so maybe I stretched out the pieces that grip the glasses, but they are short sections with very little surface area for gripping. Actually, I suppose the gripping area is similar on the two products, but the Pilot Fish installs only at the very end of the arms of the glasses, so the grips don't have far to travel before they are off completely. The Chums seem far more secure for someone planning to end up in the water.
They never fell off, so I really didn't test the floating part. That being said, I wish I purchased the regular chums. These are really bulky and style wise only make sense in a boat or swimming. It's like a life jacket for your shades :)
