Ridiculously erroneous temperature readings.

Mine's in the middle of a room where the temperature is always between 55℉ and 75℉.
(The outside temperate doesn't vary much beyond that either.)
Overnight, I'll sometimes get maximum readings of 80℉.
One night the maximum was 97℉, another time 114℉.
I’ve also seen overnight minimums of 40℉.
There is absolutely no way these readings are accurate.

The humidity readings look believable, but hard to trust given the ridiculous thermometer.

I expected more from this unit.

Also the description mentions 3-day averages for humidity & temperature:
I have seen no averages nor does the user manual mention any.

Furthermore the email address supplied for warranty inquiries does not work.

Over the years, I've spent hundreds of dollars on multiple types of hygrometers. None were even remotely accurate, always inconsistent, just garbage. Only exceptions are the hygrometers that are too big to fit inside your average medium to small humidors. Along comes Caliber IV. I have multiple humidors so I thought I would buy 2 at a time and test both. See my enclosed pic of a Boveda calibration kit with 2 Caliber IV hygrometers inside being tested. Hard to get more accurate and consistent than this.

Not calibrated or faulty batch

I'm not sure if I'm unlucky or I received a bad batch. I ordered one and it was about 15% off. I then ordered another one and it was calibrated to the exact same level. I was able to verify the accuracy via the salt method, another hygrometer, and using a 69% calibrated pack. I'm not sure if I want to try to order another one, send it back, or just note that it is off 15% (about 10% after I do the +6% adjustment).

Also worth noting that the first one must have been returned because it didn't have a box or a tab with the battery. The second had a box and a tab to activate the battery, but was still off.

Reads humidity and temperature accurate. Highly recommend over analog hygrometers that usually come standard in most humidors. The unit i received was spot on right out of the box I tested it with a 75% boveda pack. I just leave it sit on my shelf in my humidor. The temp and humidity on the hydrometer are lower because I opened the door and put it on the top shelf to get the picture.

When I purchased this hygrometer I wanted to make sure it was accurate. So I also purchased the Boveda One-Step Hygrometer Calibration Kit - 75% RH. The calibration kit allows you to check the accuracy of your hygrometer. To test, place the hygrometer in the bag and wait 24 hours. If your hygrometer is accurate it should read 75%.

After 24 hours it never read above 66%. This hygrometer has a calibration feature that lets you adjust the accuracy. But the adjustment is only for +/- six (6) percent. Which means it doesn't have enough adjustment range to compensate for its inaccuracy.

I then ordered a second hygrometer to see if its accuracy was any better than the first one. But the "set" button doesn't work. So after ordering two of these, one is inaccurate and the other one has a defective set button. Needless to say, I'm not impressed and will look for another brand.

Impossible to Calibrate

Did not come calibrated. I tried to calibrate it with 75% and 32% kits, but it is off by -7% RH and the calibration only allows 6% RH of adjustment. Therefore, it is impossible to calibrate and as so completely useless to me. I wish that I kept the box to return it, but then someone else might get this junk.

This was a complete waste of money because I still need to do math to get a ready. I am just as well off with a decent $2 analog hygrometer from China.

Seems to be the only accurate hygrometer on Amazon...and I've sampled quite a few. This one was only 1% off in the Boveda tests. And it has the ability to set it to just show +/- an amount from its calibration, so I just set it to show +1 and now it's 100% accurate 100% of the time.

I own about 10 hygrometers at this point, and this one and a relatively large home one I bought from walgreens are the only ones I trust anymore.

This hygrometer arrived 5% rH off. I also bought the Boveda calibration kit and this hygrometer was at 70% rH not the expected 75% rH. I also tried the salt test with salt and DI water in a bottle cap and it was also at 70% rH. This scares me that the calibration may be off again in the near future. I'll continue to test. But, I bought a digital hygrometer for reliability. Not happy so far. I thought this would be a set it and forget it device.

Inaccurate, will not calibrate. Showing completely diffrent readings to other products I have.

Put it in a ziplock with a fresh Boveda 68% for 48rs and it was showing 74%.
