We purchased a rear backup for our RV trailer from a reputable RV supplier spending over $400. It worked great until we bought a new 2024 pickup to pull with. They no longer put cigarette lighters in vehicles according to the dealership and that was the only type end the camera came with. The truck does have several USB ports, but no way to plug the camera in. I bought a converter from 20V cigarette lighter plug to a USB from AMAZON. My camera would not come on. Not enough volts to make it come on. I emailed the vendor I bought it from and they wanted to sell me a kit to run a line from my battery in the car and hook a lighter to it inside the truck. I don't know how to do that! I also sent the manufacturer the same information as I did the vendor and they replied that they knew of the problem and were working on a solution. So I did my own research and found I needed to go from 20V to at least 8V. The first one I ordered was lower than 8V. That is why it didn't work. I ordered a 2nd converter from AMAZON with those stats and it worked. It is a great product, you have to know what to buy. There is a simple solution! Thank you AMAZON!
