We have met Teegan and Aiden from book one and we have also learned that
@@@@@SPOILER FROM BOOK ONE @@@@@@
that Caleb and Aiden are brothers. (In my mind now the banjos come out here with Allie dating her brother's brother and Caleb dating his brother's sister. So now that I have chuckled for a few minutes and they even make a joke about it in the book, on with the review)
The authors do a wonderful job of showing Teegan and Aiden as people, not just characters in a book. These are two people that I wouldn't mind meeting on the street. Aiden knows that Teegan is his at first sniff... well his heart does, just not his head.
Teegan has been hurt before and she will do anything not to feel that pain again. But Aiden just isn't anybody and Teegan begins to find that out.
We get to meet back up with the characters from book one and get even more interaction with the parental units. I always love it when characters from books that you know and love are continued on in another book (duh it is a series but oh well :)).
So to sum up...another excellent effort by Sara Dailey and Staci Weber. They do a great job of keeping the reader engrossed through the final page.
Teenagers, that are "IN" High School, "thinking" they are in Love and then have sex? I know it is common, but to encourage it in a book as being not a big deal and written about like it should be done, I GREATLY disagree.
I also didn't really care for the ending. At first Cade is "okay" with what is going on. But the ending says something altogether different and without warning. What?!
***END OF SPOILER.***
BUT, it isn't enough to steer me away from recommending this book. If you like shifters, humor, laughter, love story and some action? You will love this story. I am definitely looking forward to the next one to come out.
This was a great sequel, Looking forward to more from this author.
