I thought I had ordered a NEW watch. But it looked restocked to me. Instruction papers were missing. Sent it back. A little more than a week later I thought I'd give it a another try. And guess what? Pappers and the plastic cover for the watch were missing on this one. Another restock? Sent that one back. Won't order that watch again. To bad.
It is a beautiful combination of blues, a color to which I am partial. Someone had commented that the dial looked more black in some lighting, but it looks blue to me all day. It has a nice presence on the wrist. I have many divers watches - some expensive and others not. This Citizen stands up in aesthetics and quality to many of them. The bezel is strong and rotates with a firm amount of resistance and is easy to grip by its nicely machined scallops. The markers and hands are substantial and attractive and they glow nicely in the dark. The band is a bit stiff as others have mentioned, but it is not at all uncomfortable. It is plenty long. My wrist is small and I will need to cut off about 1/2" so it looks better.
It was not ticking when I took it out of the box, but within a few minutes of exposing it to ambient light, it started up. It has survived a couple of hot tubs and I'm sure it will hold up under more challenging submersions. Let's face it, even most casual divers do not go to the depths that would challenge a quality diver's watch. The screw-down crown gives one confidence, especially if pondering its susceptibility to water intrusion. and its location at 4 o'clock is great because when it slides down on my wrist, a flexed wrist does not bind on the crown.
I now have four sport/divers watches that I will probably never wear again, since I am tired of replacing batteries.

Have had this watch a year now. Build quality is solid. It's not the lightest watch I own and viewed from the side, it's "thicker" than your normal watch. Then again, it's supposed to be a Diver's watch up to 200m. I love the "matte" finish so it's not too bright and not too reflective. The blue rubber strap takes some getting used to, but if you do a lot of diving, it's great. It's got plenty of length to wrap around a wetsuit and certainly will fit a large wrist. As mentioned it has a cool little decompression dive table printed on the band. I switched it out for a more traditional metal band. My only complaint is that the curved end of the my metal band doesn't reach snugly up to the watch (see pic), but that's not the fault of the watch.
I love the large non-numerical dots. The orange lined minute hand is unique and stands out making it easy to quickly read the time against the beautiful blue face. The second hand hits every second hash mark spot on! It keeps excellent time and is not fast nor slow. My rotating bezel is *tight* and not the easiest to rotate if you don't hold onto the ridged areas, but that's ok because it tells me that the bezel is well designed and will last. Love the luminescence! Something that I've read and confirmed... the hands and non-numbers glow "blue" but the dot on the bezel is a light green (see pic). A nice touch by Citizen to make that a different color.
As others have mentioned the date window could be a little bigger but I thought it was a very cool to line up the crown and the date window and have them both at the 4 o'clock position instead of the typical 3 o'clock. The crown also has to "unscrew" before using... a sign of a real diver's watch :) You will be hard pressed to find similar build quality and luxury at this price point. I look forward to enjoying this timepiece for many many years. What else is there to say?!? Get it! You will love it!

Next the watch. You will be amazed to see the beauty of it. The polished stainless steel case, the glossy crown with the Promaster emblem in it, the highly glossy outline of the index markers will mesmerize you. The hands are beautiful with the hour hand outlined by glossy stainless steel, minute hand with vibrant orange outline, and the second hand is a thin white hand with a lume at the tip. The hour & minute hands are wide enough to see the time at any lighting condition. The dial is the deep navy blue colour (my favourite colour) on which the index marks & the hands really pop out. The bezel is also of deep navy blue colour. The strap is also navy blue colour which you may change if you donot like rubber strap.
Now come to the time keeping capability of the watch. Its running 2 seconds late after 24 days. That means -3 seconds per month which is highly satisfied as you have to adjust time once in a year.
Next the charging. The charging is quite fast. I opened the packing at night & after some exposure to the table lamp, it started running & I was amazed to see it running when I woke up in the morning though in a 2 seconds interval. After exposing it beside the window after about 2 hours, it began to tick in 1 second interval.
Now the most striking feature of this watch - lume. Its awesome. You cannot understand this feature at the daytime, but at night, even in the middle of night, after 5 hours of last exposure to light, you can clearly see the glowing hands & markers with the naked eye (generally i use specs for reading & writing but to see timing in this watch, I donot use specs, it is so prominent). I was searching such feature in a watch for a long time & it is completely fulfilled by this watch. I really love it.
Now the cons. The date window is really small though you can somehow manage to see it. the day is missing. The dial is quite large for small to medium wrists. The strap is of rubber.
Final verdict : Every watch in this world has some pros & cons. It has also some. But despite it's cons, you should go for this watch without any hesitation as the appearance of the watch with deep navy blue dial & luminous hands & markers is great, the visibility of the hands is extraordinary, the lume is amazing with about -3 seconds variation per month. Its a must have watch.
Addition after 7 months : it is running 8 secs late i.e., almost 1 sec per month. excellent.
