I genuinely liked this book. I enjoyed the story line and it contained a lot of great steamy scenes. My one major complaint is that this book is in desperate need of editing. There were so many grammatical errors including the wrong use of there, their, they're and were, we're. There were also many misplaced punctuation marks. The one thing that really took away from the book for me and is a huge pet peeve of mine is the word seen. The word saw was never used in this book, it was "I seen" "We seen" " They seen".....it is saw..."I saw" "We saw" "They saw".....I know this is being nitpicky but if the book was edited and formatted correctly it would be a 5 star read for me. I am usual not a stickler for this but all of the errors really distracted me while reading.

Where to begin...the story itself was engaging and moved along at a good pace but I had such a hard time with all of the spelling and grammatical mistakes that it made me feel bad for the author. It clearly lists an editor but I am wondering how that is even possible.
I read so many biker books that sometimes the storylines cross over a bit too much and originality seems to suffer...but all in all, it was an ok story. I read the entire book in one sitting and have the second in the series ready to read on my kindle. I just wish the grammar was not so poor and unfortunately for me, it lessened my enjoyment of the book.
Zoey and Hanger were an interesting couple and their chemistry was hot and exciting...even though they met under horrible circumstances and Zoey clearly was suffering from abused woman syndrome. I have been reading that this is a debut book and it did have potential to be better than it was...maybe some trusted betas next time would help.

City Lights was a great book. I think this is another great MC series to enjoy and read. I enjoyed the story it kept me glued to the pages and couldn't put it down. I like all the characters in this book and can't wait to read more about each of the brothers from Satan's Sinners. Hanger is the President of Satan's Sinners he is all man and sexy and dangerous he is also caring when it comes to his brothers and ol lady. Zoey has had it rough and is trying to get out of a bad relationship. She is left for dead out on a highway and Hanger finds her and takes her in to take care of her. I loved Zoey and Hanger they made the story entertaining and fun to enjoy. Can't wait to read the rest of these books.

I'll give it an OK. It really isn't a horrible read and there's lots of set up for future characters and the ancillary characters are reasonably interesting. Basically if I was reading this as a set up for the different books to go in depth with the different characters it would have been super for me.

Where it kind of fell apart for me is that Zoey and her world was just a little (a lot) too perfect. Everything was peachy keen right from the get go with her. Didn't bother her at all what happened to her or that she woke up in a strange place. Parents were all like super happy about it all. She's a strong girl but it made it her not very relateable to me. People have flaws and she just had none.

Neither of the main characters seemed to have any depth to me. I was much more interested in her sister and Writer than I ever was in those two. Just a little more depth and little more human in these characters and I'd love these books.

I'm not really sure if this book was good. I finished it. The storyline *seemed* to have a decent, if somewhat predictable, plot. The problem? Editing! I expect better grammar and writing from an average 4th grader. The use of commas are excessive and extremely unnecessary. "There" and "their" are consistently used incorrectly. "Would of/should of" are commonly used. And proper names, wow. For example, "Hanger" was used five times in one paragraph. I get it, the character is speaking with Hanger. I found myself finding so many errors (10 in one paragraph alone) that I absolutely could not focus on much of the story.
Perhaps with a great editor and some massive revision, this would be a good story. I'm so glad it was Kindle Unlimited and I didn't pay for it. If the author would use an editor and some beta readers for future books, she may turn out to be a good writer. For now, I can't see myself wasting more time on future works.

The book started off really good to me but kind of went downhill from there. The story was good but didn't flow that well. It seemed a little rushed the closer the end of the book came. Not enough was written about topics such as payback to the Italians for stealing the club's business and shooting up the clubhouse. During the whole book Hangar, was always meeting with other clubs about this. All of a sudden it's over but there is no explanation about what went down. Also the VP of the club got arrested for guns....no explanation. I think the author needs to concentrate more on the details of the story and not so much on the sex. I like sex scenes too but there was more of that and not enough of a story to the book. Congratulations to the author on her first book.
