"Loved this alpha sheikh! He knows how to tempt a woman but also how to respect her. You know he is a good man by what he does even though he has made some mistakes. He is determined to make things right!" (Amazon.com review)
From the Author
Years ago I read a celebrity autobiography which described how the TV personality had first met her husband--a rock star--on a snowy street in Paris, wearing only a ball gown. She'd fallen to the ground and he'd helped her up. I can't remember all the details now, and it probably wasn't even true, but the fairy tale image stuck with me. When it came to writing the fourth in the Desert Kings series, that image popped into my mind. Then all I had to do was work out why my heroine was running through the icy streets of Paris dressed in a beautiful dress, and Aurora de Chambery was born.
Sahmir had emerged from Awakened by the Sheikh
a fully-formed charmer, so I had to throw a few curved balls at him to make his life more difficult. An unhappy childhood, lost loves, a gambling habit, the Russian mafia... But because of his love for Aurora, he got through it all and was the better for it.
