Trinity had her pick of the men.... so what does she do? She picks them all! 4 men sharing the same house in a post apocalyptic world. Then a woman stumbles into their field. They all want to stake their claim on her. She wants them all! (get it girl!) So the million dollar question is, with all these men and just one female, can they all really get along? Carter is the total playboy and I don't think that he is used to really competing for a woman. Lucas and Jack are both pretty alpha...large and in charge kind of men. Owen is the shy and quiet one, so he wouldn't really put up much of a fight.... unless she shows some serious interest. There is a twist and some suspense with all the zombies running around. Mostly it's super hot! It really took me less than a day to get this one read. I loved the reverse harem idea. I think Angela had a great story to go along with it also. Absolutely loved!

You know when you meet a book that you can't put down and when you do need to like to meet your basic needs you think about that book.. This is what this book was for me. Consuming this book in less then a day - a few hours really - was a delight. I wish it didn't end or hey more books? What do you think AJ? More from this world?
So the flu is what kills humanity but we are the ones that make a vaccine that morphs it into something straight out of nightmares. This is why you don't run across the street or why you don't just cut random wires to disconnect a bomb.. but the vaccine was rushed and well that gave birth to zombies. Trinity, ex-fourth grade teacher is one of the last left alive from her group and when she gets caught in a net while running from zombies, her last companion leaves her for dead. Rescue comes in the form of four men - Zack, Lucas, Carter, and Owen. Each with different and yet distinct personalities. Zack, the alpha male and marine. Lucas, the alpha doctor. Carter, the carpenter and jokester. And Owen, the scientist that is all sweetness.
Trinity takes to living with the men and on their slice of heaven in the sea of hell that is their reality, that when an unwanted guest threatens their way of life. What are the men going to do but to fight, track and kill for what is theirs. And Hot Dog... What a steamy tale of love and life in a world gone to H-E-double hockey sticks. Awesome edition to the dystopian/apocalypse/reverse harem genres! Wish I could read it fresh all over again! Awesome book! Must Read! Seriously, what are you waiting for :)
We are more used to Angela Snyder writing full-of-feels contemporary romance. This is quite a step away from her usual fayre but still had all the hallmarks of a good book. Having read and enjoyed her releases over the past couple of years, and loving a good smutty read now and then, reading this book felt like a no-brainer. What I didn't expect was the dystopian setting, however I've always been a sci-fi geek so this was no problem for me, in fact it made the whole RH thing more acceptable in my mind.
A flu virus wiped out a large part of the population, a hastily released vaccine turned a heck of a lot more into zombie like creatures. Finding somewhere safe to sleep is difficult, finding food even harder. Trinity is part of a small, wandering group that is getting smaller all the time. One night she is running from a zombie when she ends up in a trap. Imagine Jack's surprise when he checks his traps and finds a woman in there, rather than the expected game. Jack shares a house with 3 other men, all of home Trinity finds attractive in their own way. Can she prove how useful she is to them before she outstays her welcome? Will she be able to resist the many charms of her 4 hosts?
One of the pitfalls of reverse harem is either not giving enough depth to the male characters or having very little plot aside from the bonking. This managed to avoid both of those. The book is written from all 5 characters points of view, with more chapters from Trinity's perspective, so I did feel the strongest connection to her. However each male did have enough description and personality to make an impression. Jack is the strapping ex-marine alpha male of the pack, Lucas is also fairly alpha but as a doctor he also has a more gentle side. Carter is a fun, jack-the-lad type, really smooth and sexy but not domineering whilst Owen is the shy former geek.
My only real criticism would be that the back story felt a little rushed and the world-building lacked detail. Crazed zombies aside I didn't get a 'feel' for their world. I did, however, feel that the plot was decent enough, it wasn't just an opening scene, lots of sexual encounters and a finale. There was enough conversation, relationship building and adventure in-between to make it a genuine romance, as opposed to erotica.
This is on the shorter end of the novel spectrum, it only took me an evening to read this, so I didn't skim any of the book. It's hard to fit this into a specific genre but it is definitely a very steamy read and does contain 'love' scenes where Trinity is with more than one male.
A flu vaccine being given is turning people into zombies those not affected are forced to run for their lives in order to survive. Trinity is one of those on the run when she finds herself falling into a trap and being saved by 4 very different but very very hot guys, Jack, Carter, Lucas and Owen. That's when this book takes a very hot and sexy turn.
Another great read from Angela Snyder and even if you are not sure this book is for you I would definitely recommend you give it a try I'm sure you will not be disappointed!!!
The introduction which explains the begenning of the apocalypse which is brought about by human error is interesting. The danger is real and Trinity's lucky break is a welcome relief, but I wasn't comfortable with what follows.
Giving this book a try was an interesting experience, but unfortunately not for me.
Four men and one woman!
This is a story with a difference, very well written and interesting to read. I really enjoyed it!
Due to an epidemic of flu & a problem with the vaccine producing zombies the world has changed.
Trinity escapes with a group but illness, death etc dwindled her group down.
Jack discovers her in his trap his group had faired slightly better. Bringing her to the compound with Lucas, Owen & Carter is a good thing right?
4 hot sexy guys what more could a girl want?
