I'm all about being eco-friendly, but these compostables just don't do the job. As soon as any moisture touches them, they become weak and instable, making it difficult to use and virtually useless for my intended purpose of packaging dozens of to-go meals for people who live on the street.

That being said, if you're packing sandwiches and dry goods, these would probably hold up just fine, but for real food, look elsewhere.

I bought this in an effort to cut down on my use of plastic. It’s a great idea but not practical. It’s cardboard which means that it sucks the moisture out of whatever you put into it. It falls apart too easily to be portable. Can’t even use these containers to give dinner guests food to go. Wasted money.

These are great! Used them for a fall/camping themed baby shower, so guests could drop-in, and grab their food to-go. I felt this was "cleaner" then everyone touching the same serving utensils, etc. Received a lot of compliments and I promptly sent them to where I had purchased. On the inside, there is a subtle 'thank you' stamped into the box. Nice touch. Had one food item that was a little more on the wet side, but to keep it from weakening the box, we simply put wax paper underneath.

I am not 100% pleased with these plates I thought by them being a bit different and by what I read they would be better we were basically going for something that was more deeper with more dimension the width and that could hold a bit more than just the regular plates that we were using. My husband and I decided to purchase them and they are good for the earth but we’ve noticed when we made the plates and we put them in the fridge or if they set out they felt wet, soggy and we didn’t like that feeling. I did not feel confident giving these to my clients so we use them our self and ended up going back to the store to buy more. I would not recommend this place if you are having a party and they’re out for your guest of you are serving hot or food that has liquid in it because I just feel that they are not 100% safe and secure.

Another reviewer said that wet foods made the containers soggy, so we got a pack of those foil sheets and put one at the bottom and it worked very well! Great value for your money and a really great idea for parties where you don't want to have much cleanup/trash! Will definitely purchase again

I really had no complaints about these containers. I felt I received the full value of my purchase, as they were what I expected, which was great.

Though deceptively thin, they hold a fair amount of food, and stand up to about a 1/3 of a cup of liquid very well, for instance, the amount in a small, serving of greens.

It goes from fridge to microwave well, and is only hot at the base where the food touches, so it handles well/safely, coming out of the microwave, as well (Still, always handle carefully and beware of steam!).

Obviously, they're made of paper, and even though we are in a worldwide trash crisis, at least when they end up in a landfill, they'll just turn to harmless, paper mush.

Overall, a decent product I WOULD recommend.
