Fails at the single purpose of a camera mount

The one purpose of a camera mount is to steadily hold a camera, and this mount manages to not be able to do that. This clamp is fundamentally flawed. The section where the 1/4" mount attaches to the clamp (the square section where two parts meet between the clamp and the knob) is rotatable and held by a weak spring. I ordered two of these, and each is very loose at that spring with no way to tighten. There are ~20 degrees of wobble possible. I'm only using these to mount HTC Vive base stations, but they even fail for that stationary purpose. I was going to use them as a backup GoPro mount but there's no way this would work in any sort of application that moves.

Not worth the money. If you need something for this purpose this cheap mount will not save you any money. Instead, it will be totally wasting it.

Junk with severe limitations.

Just a bad, cheaply made product. Completely useless as a bike mount.
1) There's only one tightening right from the 1/4-20 mount. What this means is that you can't set the pan angle of your camera and then tighten it to the mount. You can either tighten the camera all the way and deal with where your camera is positioned or you can adjust the one washer and have the camera freely swivel. Useless.

2) the mount to the bar clamp doesn't tighten completely without wrenching and then try to find a place for the handle.

This is a piece of cheap Chinese junk, which is unfortunately what Amazon is becoming a middleman for lately.

The design would not support what I wanted to use it for

Trying to use this rig on a motorcycle. The bar clamp is great. That is about were the usefulness of this rig stops.
The head swivels around and the fiction lock that is supposed to keep it in place will not. Road vibration would cause the swivel to rotate. Next, where the upper assembly joins the clamp itself, that attachment is spring loaded. Again, on anything short of a perfectly smooth road, the upper assembly vibrated so bad making for a bad video and it causing the swivel to rotate if you want it to or not. The mount was pretty much useless for what I wanted to do with it.

Decent, but has a wobble problem.

It works as advertised, but has one big flaw: The camera mount is connected to the bar mount via a spring-loaded joint. So when I attached his product to my bike handlebars and hit some rough road, the GoPro would wobble around like crazy. The spring mount effectively amplifies the bumps in the road, like a wobble head toy.

Note that this actually has a normal camera screw mount, but includes an adapter to the GoPro format. On the up side, this product costs only a few dollars more than buying that adapter on it's own.

The plastic lever on the screw that applies the pressure to the clamp is poorly designed. There isn't enough clearance for the screw to tighten or loosen the full range of diameters the clamp is apparently intended to grasp.

Simple modification needed.

You need to make a minor modification to it in order to tighten it properly.
There is a long bolt. On the head end of the bolt, remove the metal cylinder and drill out its threads with a 7/16" drill bit. When putting it all back together, I recommend that you add a washer on the head end.
