These are very comfortable, as I would expect a good pair of Clarks to be. The adjustable straps are nice, but unless you have a very small arch, you will have to loosen them. This exposes the Velcro and makes the shoe less attractive. Also, I imagine over time stuff would stick to the Velcro making the appearance worse.

Worried about ordering on line but like the color better in person as I do not care for a white shoe and this will work as neutral. Just received them today and have been wearing them in the house and they feel comfortable. My left foot is bigger than my right foot so the right foot fits perfect left foot will work. Always bought Naot sandals but was a crap shoot as far as fit, they run narrow to med (that is a big difference). This is my 1st pair of clarks so hope they continue to be comfortable. By the way don't look at the feet just look at the shoe. Once I start using tanner my veins won't show as much. So far pleased

I now own these sandals in 4 different colors. I wear an 8.5 Medium in Clarks shoes which in my opinion run just a bit larger than most other shoes, something I learned after buying the first pair in a size 9 several years ago. My "flat-footed feet are a B medium width, narrow AA heel and I am a pronator (means my feet roll in when walking), which is common for people with basically flat feet. The adjustable straps are great. The support is good for me, a "plus size" woman. (Size 1 X in clothes).

**Update two years later**
These are THE BEST sandals I have ever owned. They did stretch to fit my foot super comfortably. I run after two little kids and run lots of errands, and I wear these almost every day for comfort’s sake. Almost every day for 2 and a half years has definitely caused some wear and tear on these shoes, but they never fail me. Even with ocean and pool water (even though I don’t recommend doing that to these shoes- not good for the leather and it takes forever for them to dry out). Due to wear and tear I have been trying to buy new sandals but never can because these have ruined all other sandals for me. I may just buy a replacement pair.

Would've been perfect if I had ordered the right size. I've had them for a week and they are slowly forming to my foot.
