In my case, I needed to 1/2 size down.
Also, the version of these flats in the Clark's store have a cushy insole--something that these ones didn't have.
Personally, I'd rather spend the money on the cushy one!
I usually love, LOVE Clark shoes, about 90% of my shoes are Clark's. I'm a hairstylist so I am on my feet for at least 9-10 hours a day and so good shoes are important to me.
I was very disappointed since there was almost no one else that gave this shoe a bad review. I ordered the same size I always do with Clark and maybe with this shoe you need to order a 1/2 size bigger so they are a little loose so they won't rub.
Other than the holes thing the sole of these shoes are very comfortable like all Clark shoes.
The Pewter color is lovely, neutral and versatile but not boring. Sizing felt true to size. Fitted and maybe a tiny bit cramped in the toe area, but I figured they'd break in/would stretch anyways. Initially, they felt very comfortable on; ample cushioning, breathable, no pinched heels. And they looked really cute on!
However, on one foot (only!), the side of the flat kept rubbing that bony juncture under the pinky toe. (I know, odd description, but if you look at your feet I think you'll understand what I mean.) Maybe because that foot could be bigger than the other? Not sure, but couldn't stand it and returned the pair.
Waiting for 6C in Pewter to be in stock to try again.
