My only complaint is that the material is not very durable, it's almost like a heavy-duty version of a durable paper-towel...you really need to be patient and careful when pulling on it, if the material wraps around a sharp corner (like some of the hardware on the awning, the clips, etc)....the fabric can punture, tear or rip...it's really not very durable. I'm not sure it can be repaired either. It's also a bit transparent so I'm not realy sure how effective it is with keeping the sun's rays from damaging the finish...but hey, it's WAY better then doing the sun-bake thing and letting everything oxidize and go to heck. I think it's worth the money and I anticipate having to replace it every 3-4 years. Just be patient putting it on and do NOT yank, pull or force it...if it doesn't come, figure out what it's snagged on.
I had a very different experience with Classic Accessories:
First I ordered a 23'-26' class C cover for my Winnebago Mini and received a 30" + foot cover which was obviously used. It was inside out, full of leaves, dried grass and clumps of dirt or dried mud. There were a few tears in the fabric, and at least one of the plastic connectors was broken.
CA has not answered any of the three letters I have sent to their Customer Service, and have ignored my calls entirely.
I have had this RV for approximately 10 years this is the third cover I have ordered. The first two covers fit well and worked out just fine, more important when I purchased those covers I actually received what I had ordered new covers to fit the 24' RV at those times I actually received what I ordered and paid for. Of course, both previous orders were from other companies.
A very unsatisfied customer
I ordered a class C cover for a Winnebago Mini F24, which is 24 feet long. Every thing went well until half an hour ago when I opened up the shipped box and tied to cover the RV.
Low and behold they sent me something for a class A. It's Hughes at least 12' too long, and naturally way too big for my small rig. Also the cover unpacking and installation instructions do not match the way this cover is boxed and shipped (do not listen to them it does not come ready to "roll out".) It was inside out. Thus I had to roll it back up, carry it down the ladder, and then unwrap it on ground level. Turn is right side out then fold/roll up as if to store then carry it back up the RV ladder. When on top of the RV I rolled it out I was astonished at the volume of material. When I finally realized that it is just way too big to be for my rig.
Not a happy customer and more than a little upset.
One note on fit. Measure your motorhome's length from bumper to bumper. If in doubt about size, size up. My Class C motorhome is 32 feet long, which is the dividing line between the Model 5 and Model 6 size cover. The Model 5 fits snugly, but would not fit if my rig were any longer.
Update: They replaced our cover with a new one. Claim replacement was good, the company required pictures and promptly sent the replacement. However we have been on the replacement cover for a year now and it appears to be trending the same as the original. I still stand by my claim that this cover is poorly made especially for the price. We have double taped any area that could possibly snag on our RV and the cover is still wearing thin. We were putting it away in the storage bag a few days ago and the top ring of the bag where the string is completely ripped away from the body of the bag. Mind that the bag has never been exposed to sun or weather and is made of the same material as the cover, only proving that this is cheap material at an over-inflated price. Save your money and go with another company such as ADCO. Would definitely not recommend this cover. I am sure the warranty only applies to the original purchase and not the replacement.
