Seriously. The cables fit in the compartment perfectly. But don't take my word for it; check out my super easy to follow three-step photo guide! LOL

I also cringed when I saw PDP's photos of the paddles with the cord tightly wrapped around themselves while in the case. THANKFULLY, it does not have to be this way. I also have photos of my fix for that as well.

Fear the unknown no longer! Buy with confidence! Get 'em while thy're hot! Haha

Not for original classic SNES. Tiny.

It says for "classic" so I made the mistake of assuming that meant for the original SNES. I guess they must've released a mini one, because that's all that might fit in here other than a gameboy. Unfortunately my console is from when I was a kid. Maybe it's time to just get rid of stuff I've hung on to for nostalgia. I got really excited about this so... Don't make the same mistake. They need to change the misleading title to 'mini snes' storage. I also see used ones for sale that are all missing one snap so I'm sure those plastic closing snaps are flimsy, too. I'm sad about this purchase.

Nice case, not enough room for extension cables

Nice looking case that captures the look and feel of the SNES, while keeping your SNES mini safely contained. I take both our NES and SNES minis in our RV when we go camping, so I need a case that will keep them protected. This case is made of robust plastic with soft foam and velour-like padding on the inside. It will easily hold the system, 2 controllers, ac adapter, usb and HDMI cables. Basically everything included with the mini system. My biggest complaint with this case is the lack of storage space for anything else, like controller extension cables. There is a compartment inside with a door, but it's not deep enough to hold 2 extensions without bulging out awkwardly. Nothing a few minutes with an x-acto knife can't fix though ;)

This case far exceeded my expectations. It’s plastic shell is harder than I thought it’d be for its price point and still not too heavy. It protects the snes Classic without being overly cumbersome. The gripped feet as photographed keep it from slipping off a number of surfaces. It fits all the components that come with the Snes Classic console comfortably without binding the wires. The PDP case when compared to the austere RDS cases, that are competitively priced and which I also own, have an aesthetic hearkening back to the 90’s more than the aforementioned RDS gray or black cases.

It’s only drawbacks, and they’re quite small, is that it only holds two controllers comfortably. The other is that while the Snes Classic has 20 games hardwired in only six are represented in the 3 double sided placards included in this case.

Overall this product exceeded my expectations with it’s great value and beautiful retro design that enhance my videogame collection.

Foam cutouts are nice, though for the controllers there's nowhere for the cord. Assuming you have to wind it around the controller, which I'm not a fan of. On mine, the two latches that lock the box closed were different in their grasp onto the latch. On the left it grabbed very firmly while the right barely secured at all. The game image display is a little cheesy, but nothing to worry about. Cable storage for USB and HDMI could be better organized. Seems like the idea is to just coil them up and put them in the lid. Having paid $20, I shouldn't expect too much, but it seems worth a bit more than that in most aspects of build quality. I actually went on a work trip wishing I had something like this and lo and behold I found one.

Very sturdy construction, seems made of resistant plastic.
It has compartments for your SNES mini and the two controllers along with the power adapter these compartments are made out of foam and they offer excellent protection for your SNES mini.
It has a "hidden compartment" where you can place the USB Cable and the HDMI Cable.
The interchangeable covers is a very nice touch and for my family (we have two of these) it makes them easy to tell apart from whose console will you be grabbing.

When people see you carrying your SNES classic in this, they’ll know you are a rad dude.

This case looks and feels like it came out of the ‘90s. It reminds me of the case for the original GameBoy that was a giant plastic GameBoy.
Feels solid, matches the system colors well, and holds everything pretty well (the partition for the power and hdmi cords could stand to be a bit bigger, but it works).
Love the style, happy with the build.

Please note—I had to return my first one of these because the foam padding inside was yellowed, and looked rather disgusting. Second one is clean, and is the basis of this review.

This case is like something the 90's dreamt up with modern quality. The awesome and super nostalgic game cards to customize the front are the obvious showpiece of this case. But the thoughtfulness to the inner layout makes it the total package. This is not simply the conversation starter it seems like. By far the most impressively designed travel case I've owned in the last three decades. My only complaint? There isn't one made for the NES Classic yet. PDP I know you can do it!
