Disney has once again put some of its most liked songs into a single album. The songs on this CD are some of my favorite songs and I'd recomend the CD for anyone that has kids or just likes the songs.

This third CD of Disney music is a good mixture of the old with the new. Track 1: "Colors of the Wind" from POCAHONTAS is one of the best songs composed to date for a motion picture. Track 18: "Bella Notte" from LADY AND THE TRAMP brings back many memories as does Track 21: "The Ballad of Davy Crockett" from television show and movies. Going back even further is Track 24: "Little April Shower" from BAMBI, which is an interesting composition representing nature's beauty, fury and return to tranquility. Track 6: "Les Poissons" is a great number from THE LITTLE MERMAID that is well composed musically but also is used to advance the story of the film. This is yet another great CD in this series.

Two of my faves are You've Got a Friend in Me & Once Upon a Dream , but what's nice is this collection also includes some more obscure but still fun songs. All-in-all a great collection, well worth getting for any Disney fan.

Good CD; the grand daughter loves it. Disney has always been superb with their songs. The different erras of songs is nice and the kids get exposed to a side of disney they are not privy to. If you are a true Disney fan, you will recognize some of the older songs ands say to yourself, "Hey, I remember that!"

I bought this for my daughter who has autism, but loves Disney movies. Since I bought different volumes of these CDs, I'm quite happy with the purchase. We recently listened to these on a fairly long car trip. It was fun to hear not only the most recent Disney songs, but also some much older ones. Great variety.

This is just one album of one of the best collections of Disney music that's out there. Usually when Disney puts an album out, it normally only contains hit songs from their best selling films. However, this collection doesn't just draw from the films. It also draws from their attractions and even much lesser known or forgotten films (or even sometimes their old Disney shorts from about thirty to forty years prior). Plus usually on most albums there are normally only about sixteen or maybe even eightteen songs, while this entire collection has twenty-five songs on each album (which is five albums in total) with no songs edited. In additionally each album also has excellent sound quality and is very enjoyable. It's also worth a mention that there are all different types of songs sung by all different types of characters. Some are princesses, some are heros, some are side-characters, some are young characters, some are old characters and some are villains. And that's not just for this volume either. It's for every volume. Just some of the beloved songs that this volume has inculde Toy Story's popluar hit You've Got A Friend In Me, The Jungle Book's slyly sinisterly lallubye Trust In Me to Robin Hood's chatchy opening number Oo-De-Lally. If your looking for something a little more romantic there's always Bella Notte from Lady and the Tramp or if you need something more rambunctious there's always The Jungle Book's I Wanna Be Like You. If you're feeling a little blue take a listen to Jack's Lament from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas or if you need something more fast-paste, domineering, angry, selfish, manipulative and downright dark then check-out The Mob Song from Beauty And the Beast and lastly don't forget to listen to Family from James And the Giant Peach (it's a real sweetie).Read more ›

I use this CD at school with my sixth graders. We play it when we are finishing work and they love the variety of the songs. The first time they hear it, they make it a contest to be the first to name the movie. This CD and the others in the set are popular all year long. They are our favorites!
