I will say I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because where you thread it onto the mic stand, seems a little delicate due to being plastic. If you are looking for a metal version from the same company, I did find this one which we will also be purchasing: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HZRXD8C/ref=as_li_ss_tl?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=ll1&tag=fre4meb-20&linkId=236cb18f014ee04d9823fe09fb533a0c
Edit: I attached this to my mic stand, connected it to my behringer keyboard amp/practice pa and it sounds as good as any other mic I've used(including Shure, nady, Samson). The black looks really cool. I'm no snob about brand name or workmanship...I care that it looks cool and sounds good. This mic does both. I even like that it is plastic because there is less chance for interference.
The bottom of the mic screws into a standard mic stand making it a great choice if you're looking for an authentic "retro" mic.
The vocals came out amazingly clean and cut through the mix perfectly. The on/off switch was great for waiting out a solo or bridge without worrying about sneezing or something lol - it directly attachs to the mic stand - so not sure if I would use this for gigging as that plastic thread would wear out - but for a studio where you leave it on the stand like me - its perfect - no reason to pay more - and it looks friggin radtro (retro+rad) !

To me I think it’s a great microphone it has a echo to it when it’s on which old retro microphones always had. I sang into it a couple times when I was just hanging out with her dog when she would leave for an hour. It’s a great microphone my view and the echo makes you barely notice unless you just completely ignoring the singing part and listening to the microphone.
It’s a great style I give it 2 thumbs up my friend is on the fence with 1 thumb up and 1 thumb down. But two different opinions in the same review makes it an interesting to see what each person is into.
