MAGICAL is the only way to describe it! I babysit a little boy who is super hard to get to sleep (rocking, singing, patting his back...all of that only works sometimes) and he usually won't stay asleep longer than 30 minutes!
I saw the reviews for this cd and decided to give it a shot, and it was the BEST DECISION that I have ever made! This morning, he went to sleep within a few minutes and slept for 3 hours!!!(I put the cd on repeat) and this afternoon he fell asleep within 5 minutes!
The music is so peaceful and relaxing, and it not the typical classical music that gets really loud and then soft...it stays at a steady volume, and there isn't a long silence between songs.
GREAT MUSIC for a GREAT PRICE!!!

My 4 year hold has trouble falling asleep so I decided to order a boom box and "sleepy" CD's. Was real excited to get this one, but it was awful! The music is not classical/ instrumental... it's a combination of jazz and other instruments that are hard to identify. My son listened for about 5 minutes and told me this music is awful. I have to agree. Very disappointed!

We got this for my son when he was a baby. We used it a little then, but now use it regularly as a night and naptime CD. (He is a toddler.) None of the songs are annoying (and my music major husband is picky) and it PUTS me to sleep, but that is probably conditioning.

I also really like the cover art! Not that it matters...I'd still recommend the CD if you hated it.

Sometimes with classical music the volume changes too much with the different instruments, but not this one. Thats the beauty of it.
