Great design, but falls apart!

My son loves this jacket. However, after he wore this jacket twice, pieces started coming off. We were not sure if him sitting in it caused creases that made it tear. The product says leather, but we possibly were mailed something else. Despite the product falling apart, my son really wanted to keep it because it does (overseeing the rips and pieces of material falling off) look like something Deadpool would wear. It is a great design, but the quality of the material is lacking if it cannot hold up to a couple of hours of walking around.
