The designs here are very cute - but very very simplistic. This appears to be written for a 10 to 12 year old girl. For that audience it is an excellent book which would be much appreciated. This is not the sort of book you would buy if you wanted to make "big people's jewelry" for resale purposes..
The instructions are easy to follow, and there are nice photos for every project.
I appreciate that each project introduces techniques that can be applied to her own ideas (like using a tool to apply a texture, or marbleizing colors), and that the finished products are actually cute, useful, and hip, rather than being too grandma (with no offense to grandmas :)
