If you are serious, this book shows you how; from understanding the goals, through planning – including the shopping list for the market – to a two-week menu plan.
The back of the book is stuffed with compliant recipes. You won’t be disappointed in the eclectic selection, but start with the Lentil and Sweet Potato Stew; it will get you off on the right taste bud as you start the journey in Clean Eating.
It has a 14 day meal plan to get you started. I always like this when I am starting out because it is easier for me to get into the swing of things. The part I found the most interesting about this book was the information about food pairings. It tells you what foods can be combined to get the maximum nutritional value out of the foods. This is something that I didn't know much about before so I was excited to learn something completely new. I would recommend this book if you're interested in starting to eat healthy and get rid of all the processed food that so many of us have come accustomed to eating.
Will be trying a lot of these recipes. Wish there were more for two servings rather than 6 to 8 but I will adjust them.
