I found that it quickly became overly ambitious without a lot of substance. The book was almost conversational in nature, skipping from one topic to another without offering up any solid advice. Some of the "advice" was almost nonsensical. For example, when it talked about cleaning the living room they state that you should “Play some music while you ar cleaning your living room. This can make the task much more enjoyable.” The book is way too simplistic for my taste.
The de-cluttering section had some interesting thoughts, but were I interested in de-cluttering (I am) I'm head for a specific book on the topic rather than a small chapter. The hints were not particularly helpful. For example, they suggest one use "5 Minutes to De-Clutter." Now there's nothing in the following paragraph suggesting how I can take the "baby steps [that] can definitely make a big step." A bit of that chapter reminded me of the Hoarder's show and the methods they use.
The book rambles and really doesn't impart a lot of good, solid advice. I did glean a few hints, but not enough to make the read worthwhile. No real hints, cleaning or otherwise, can be found in this book. I would have liked to see some solid advice in the "Natural Green Cleaning Recipes," but there was only a description of what that type of cleaning is. A few things of use in this book, but for the most part, I'd recommend giving this one a pass.
