No more wrinkly hands from washing my brushes! This little contraption works well to help me clean my beloved makeup brushes and protects my hands from soaking in water while I clean them. Also, the ridges and bumps help in really getting the brushes much cleaner than my hand alone. You won't find this selling for less anywhere else, either. I'll never be without this essential brush cleaning tool ever again!

Oh man, my life will never be the same. I had been washing my brushes with soap and my hands like a peasant... Now my brushes are squeaky clean with little effort. This brush egg has brought joy to my heart. Here is how I clean my brushes:

1. Wet your brush under a running faucet
2. Use a Dove soap bar and lather your brush
3. Gently scrub makeup brush on egg
4. Rinse the brush by scrubbing on the egg under running water
5. Squeeze excess water from brush, reshape and lay flat on a clean surface

And you lived happily ever after.

Actually Made My Life Easier

I was slightly skeptical and had average expections when I purchased this.

As someone who kind of has OCD and is overly diligent when it comes to having clean makeup brushes, I would carefully and meticulously clean each one of my brushes and it would be so time consuming. And I would always feel like they still weren't clean enough. The possibility that I might be rubbing residual bacteria on my face disturbs me.

This thing GENUINELY saves me time and makes my life easier, and I always feel certain that the bristles have been thoroughly cleaned. It's such a simple design- a piece of rubber with grooves in it- but it really works. I get the the bristles slightly wet, apply a very small amount of baby shampoo on the board, swish the brush on there for a few seconds and it rinses totally clean with no residue. Then I use antibacterial wipes on both the handle and bristles before drying it flat on a clean towel, ensuring that my brushes are sanitized.

It works excellently on my small eye brushes as well my larger powder brushes, it's just a little trickier and requires more work with the latter.

This makes the chore of washing my brushes much less laborious and it only costs $2. Right on.

Finally tried this last night and used all my brushes on it, including my foundation one which was SOAKED in dried up foundation, revealing the original orange color of the brush hair, which I'd forgotten even existed This one took a while though, considering how filthy the brush was. My other brushes only took seconds to clean, and they looked brand new again (except my lip one that has stubborn lipstick color stuck to it). I cleaned my sponges as well, and it helped to rub them a little on this, then just try and do the rest by hand. As a cleanser, I used warm water and baby shampoo (I didn't want to use anything that would cause a strong lingering smell) and it did the job just fine, no need to purchase some special makeup cleaner.

We were first hesitant to buy the cleaning makeup washing brush from Komocare due to the low costs, but we decided to give it a shot because of all the positive reviews and we were pleasantly surprised on how well it did. The brush thoroughly clean through all the makeup brush bristle and the smaller knobs on the top are used for foaming and lathering. The grooves in the bottom of the egg are used to agitate the bristles.

I definitely like this makeup brush cleaner. This plastic cleaner is soooooooo... easy to use. You just put a little liquid soap in the hole plus a little water and swirl your smaller makeup brush inside and run the bristles on the ridges on the out side. After you rub the bristles hold the makeup brush under cool water and dry on towel. I like it!!! Now the only thing you can not do is the larger brushes. They are a little too big to fit in the hole for dipping inside the cleaner, but if you put liquid soap on the bristles you can still rub them on the outside and they come out just as clean. You know I'm so scandalous I even rubbed my sponges on that cleaner and you know what? It cleaned them too!!! I was Done after that and wondering why I didn't get 2. YESSSSS!! If you have brushes to clean BUY this it "WORKS". " LUV' THIS LITTLE THING!!!

But you know this is in my opinion.
