ClearStream Eclipse Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna with Sure Grip Technology - 50 Mile Range
- Best performance among amplified flat antennas in the 50 mile range category [NOTE: Location, obstructions, and building materials effect reception]
- Sure Grip Technology guarantees the easiest installation of any indoor antenna available. Paintable surface - match your wall, Furniture, or accent Color for custom fit. Lifetime Warranty
- The 20Db in-line amplifier system provides added range and maximum signal reception for more channels. • Plug into your TV, Scan for channels, watch TV
- Multi-directional element and double-sided Black or white design: no aiming necessary and comes with 12ft of high performance coaxial cable
- Indoor installations can be problematic for two reasons. First, the antenna will be lower than a roof-mounted installation, often limiting line-of-sight. Second, the digital signal is weakened by every wall the signal must pass through. This is why we recommend placing your indoor antenna as close to a window as possible (again, the higher, the better).

Top customer reviews
I placed ClearStream where a competitor's antenna had been. I immediately went from 27 to 40 stations, and with a small adjustment 42 stations.
With the unamplified competitor's antenna, adjustment never ended, and stations would suddenly and for no apparent reason dropout (i.e., no wind blowing tree branches, no rain, and no helicopters).
Now all 42 stations have the same quality with no dropout, and this is in a house in a valley, in the basement of that house with the antenna 15 feet from a small window, and with large bushes and trees immediately outside. (Note: I'm sure there will be temporary dropouts from helicopters, and strong wind and rain, but not the sudden, no apparent reason, dropouts.)
I receive all major networks, an array of public stations, including NHK and RT (channels 4 thru 66), and all for $35 and free one day shipping.
Thank you ClearStream, and more importantly, I want to thank, again, the people who wrote intelligent, informative reviews.
Addendum: After watching for awhile, it's become clear that the quality of the picture is far superior to what it was before installing the ClearStream.
UPDATE June 20th: I said in my review that I was prepared for channel dropouts as the result of heavy rain, strong winds blowing tree branches 25 feet from the antenna, as well as dropouts caused by helicopters flying overhead. I'm very glad to report that there've been two strong storm systems with flooding rain, large hail, and strong winds, along with daily overhead helicopters and there has not been a single time that a station has dropped out.
As impressed as I was when I first installed the ClearStream antenna, I'm now nearly incredulous at the superiority of this antenna over its competitors.
If you're wondering whether or not to buy the ClearStream antenna, WONDER NO MORE!!!!
Now, here's the review. I had originally purchased a Mohu Leaf 50, and 2 less expensive RCA models from Home Depot FULLY EXPECTING to return the Mohu Leaf that my wife picked up at Best Buy (for TOO MUCH $$) and the what looked, and were cheap, models from RCA (I mean crap!) And now I purchased this antenna because it was rated so highly and I liked the omni directional part having mentioned that my apartment windows face south. I like that it may be placed on any flat surface but I wonder how long the stickiness will last. The antenna cord itself appears inferior to the Mohu and cannot be replaced with a beefier coax cable like you can w the Mohu. The Mohu was place (with the better coax cable) at the same window on a lower level sill facing east.
Results (for me). Mohu - 28 channels. ClearStream - 8. RCA - Not acceptable in any way My decision is to keep the Mohu and suck up the price as much as I wanted to have something less expensive work well. Purchased new, the ClearSteam cannot compete (in my house) for value with the Mohu. Try several in your house and you decide though.
My advice is save some money and get the non amplified version. With this unit I run it without the amplifier because the picture quality is slightly better without it. Mine was used and wouldn't stick to the wall although it didn't appear that the backing had ever been removed. I used a single push pin mount it
