Clearblue Advanced Pregnancy Test with Weeks Estimator is the first and only pregnancy test that also estimates how many weeks since ovulation. By using two separate test strips, the test gives you two essential answers — ‘Pregnant’ or ‘Not Pregnant’ and, if the result is ‘Pregnant,’ an estimate of how many weeks have passed since ovulation, 1-2, 2-3 or 3+. The easy-to-read digital display uses words and numbers to show results, eliminating any confusion about interpreting lines at an emotional time.
- Like 2 tests in 1
- Estimates weeks since ovulation
- Over 99% accurate
- Tells you in words if you are pregnant
Clearblue Advanced Pregnancy Test with Weeks Estimator uses 2 separate testing strips working together in the test stick to detect pregnancy and identify hCG (pregnancy hormone) levels for estimating how many weeks since ovulation.
The high-sensitivity strip detects low levels of hCG expected early in pregnancy; the low-sensitivity strip detects higher levels of hCG typical when pregnancy is more than 3 weeks since ovulation.
The test stick contains an optical reader to measure the results lines and give you a clear digital readout in words and numbers. ‘Pregnant’ is clearly indicated on the display if the test is positive, along with an estimate of the number of weeks since ovulation: 1-2, 2-3 or 3+. Get 2 essential answers with just 1 test.
Clearblue is the #1 OB-GYN choice , and 84% of OB-GYNs agree that the Clearblue Advanced Pregnancy Test with Weeks Estimator offers helpful information to women detecting pregnancy . The Weeks Estimator gives you the added advantage of getting more information earlier than ever to share with your healthcare provider and help you better prepare in the early stages of pregnancy.
Q1. When can I test with Clearblue Advanced Pregnancy Test with Weeks Estimator?
A1. Clearblue recommends that you test from the day your period is expected. However, hCG increases rapidly in early pregnancy and Clearblue Advanced Pregnancy Test can be used to test up to 4 days before your expected period, which is 5 days sooner than waiting until you miss your period to test . If you test before your expected period and get a ‘Not Pregnant’ result, there is still a chance that you may be pregnant. Some pregnancy tests that claim to be ultrasensitive (detecting pregnancy up to 6 days sooner) are consequently unable to deliver over 99% accuracy from the day of the expected period (see product labeling of other tests for more information).
Q2. Can any medication or medical conditions affect the result?
A2. Always read manufacturers' instructions for any medication you are taking before testing.
Fertility drugs containing hCG (such as Pregnyl and Profasi) can give misleading results (these fertility drugs are usually given by injection). Testing with Clearblue Advanced Pregnancy Test with Weeks Estimator too soon after administration may give a false ‘Pregnant’ result.
If you have recently stopped using hormonal contraception or are using fertility therapies like Clomid, your periods may be irregular, leading you to test too soon.
Ectopic pregnancy and ovarian cysts can give misleading results.
If you get unexpected results you should discuss them with your doctor.
Q3. How accurate is the Clearblue Advanced Pregnancy Test with Weeks Estimator?
A3. The new Clearblue Advanced Pregnancy Test with Weeks Estimator is very accurate, providing trusted answers from the beginning of a woman’s pregnancy. Based on a wealth of clinical data, the Clearblue Advanced Pregnancy Test with Weeks Estimator is more than 99% accurate at detecting pregnancy from the day of the expected period . Like all home pregnancy tests, all results of the Clearblue Advanced Pregnancy Test with Weeks Estimator should be confirmed by your doctor, especially when making decisions about future medical care.

The Clearblue Advanced Pregnancy Test with Weeks Estimator is an over-the-counter urine hCG test which is intended for the detection of pregnancy. The test detects hCG in some cases from four days before the expected period (which is 5 days before the day of the missed period). This test is only intended for individual use at home. It is not intended for use in a healthcare setting. This test contains a “Weeks Estimator”. The “Weeks Estimator” is meant solely as an estimate for the consumer and is not intended as a substitute for a doctor’s clinical diagnosis. The ‘Weeks Estimator’ is not intended for multiple pregnancies. The estimate provided by the device may be inaccurate in these cases. This test cannot be used to determine the duration of pregnancy or to monitor the progression of pregnancy. Your doctor determines how many weeks pregnant you are based on the first day of your last menstrual period and ultrasound results. This test provides a different estimate that cannot be substituted for a doctor’s determination of gestational age. Only your doctor can provide a reliable estimate of gestational age and only your doctor can monitor pregnancy progression. You should seek qualified prenatal care if you suspect you are pregnant. Please refer to the package insert for test instructions and for more information on the Weeks Estimator feature. If you test early and get a ’Not Pregnant’ result it is possible that the level of pregnancy hormone may not yet be high enough to be detected. You should test again when you expect your period.

I want other women to know that this test should not be relied on for concerns over how the pregnancy is progressing in regards to hCG, and do not allow yourself to fret over the results-like I did. :)
Good luck and happy healthy pregnancy to you all.
So I call my doctor and they bring me in for bloodwork. I had to wait for the results so the next morning, so I decided to take another test. At this point, I'm just trying to figure out waht is going on with these results. I bust out a fresh 2 pack of the Clear Blue digital test. I peed in a cup first thing in the morning and dipped the stick per the instructions. I waited 3 minutes – NOT PREGNANT. For good measure I dipped the second stick from the same package in the SAME PEE exactly like the first and guess what – this one said PREGNANT. How on earth do you get two different results from this test with THE SAME PEE at the same time?!?! After all of this frustration I decided to try a little experiment and sent my husband out for an EPT and a First Response test. The standard tests with the lines. Both came back NOT PREGNANT, clear as day. Oh and guess what, my bloodwork was also NOT PREGNANT. These tests are garbage. Save yourself the frustration and stick with the tried and true tests without the fancy digital display. No other test on the market has as many false positives as this test which can really screw with you when you are trying to get pregnant, think you are, and really its just a bogus test! The moral of the story – STEER CLEAR unless you want shotty results and a whole bunch of heartache!!
1) I knew I was pregnant
2) I know when I ovulated
I'm not disappointed, because it means my levels are still rising.
They are good tests (when they work) but the weeks estimator is just a ballpark figure, and I simply retested out of curiosity.
The only issue I have with these tests is the price.
