About the Author
Allie Burton didn’t realize having so many jobs would become great research material for the stories she writes. She has been everything from a fitting room attendant to a bike police officer to a professional mascot escort. She has lived on three continents and in four states and has studied art, fashion design, marine biology, and advertising. When her kids asked, “when are you going to write a story we can read?” she switched from adult novels to Young Adult and Middle Grade and hasn’t looked back. Allie is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators, Romance Writers of America including the Young Adult, Dallas Area Romance Writers and Heart of the Rockies chapters. She is also a member of Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers. Currently, she lives in Colorado with her husband and two children. www.allieburton.com www.twitter.com/Allie_Burton www.Facebook.com/AllieBurtonAuthor http://on.fb.me/1VMepM9 www.wattpad.com/AllieBurton http://w.tt/1XI9xJS

CC has spent her life feeling invisible. She feels like no one sees her. not her parents, not her fair weather friends, not even her classmates and teacher. So it comes to her as a huge surprise when Antony pays attention to her and actually seems to get exactly what she seems to feel. It's a novel experience for her, one that she will blackmail not to give up.
As the knot turns both of them invisible, it's time to get serious about working through stuff. However with one party unwilling and the other hurt things are bound to get a bit tangled. The climax was absolutely superb. I love how CC comes into her own and manages to contribute to the team. I also found her parents terribly self obsessed and I'm so glad that she has her Aunt Neffy to balance out things
Of course there was a huge cliff hanger in the end and I'm not going to spoil it for you. All I can say is that I'm dying to read the next book to see how things work out for the Soul Warriors. And by now I'm sure you've realized this is a series that you are going to love.
So Cleo has had it. She is going to suck up to her parents. She is going to become a great person, attend school, do her best in everything. It's a great plan, but it can't really work when no one can see you.
All caused by a curse. That involves a knot, cleo, driver leader, a slave, goddess and a lot more. So now, Antony has to get involved, since you can't really say no to a goddess. Or he could, but it may not be too pretty. So he gets over it and goes to help, which then leads his wishes to being tied up by Cleo.
So you could say magic has been used a lot. The curse looked into a bit deeper. I love Cleo's attitude, shes just a fun character. The details are great in this book. This book has my favorite cover yet, and I may just call this book my favorite. I did finish this one faster than the rest, so thats always a great sign of a good book. So if you haven't read these books yet, then what are you waiting for?
Another big hit with me, and I can't wait to see what Allie writes up next!
I enjoyed the way that the main character grows and morphs based on her experiences. She went from a lonely, spoiled individual to someone that I really enjoyed knowing. The rest of the cast was a blast to get to know as well. The way that they came together yet still stood apart as individuals made me feel as if I were really part of something.
This is definitely a one of a kind tale that kept me on my toes throughout. It is a novel that will be loved by readers of all ages.
Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.
Antony was a slave to the original Queen Cleopatra and no matter what he won't let himself become a slave to anyone else ever again. When his quest to find a relic leads to Cleo and he must decide if she is just like her namesake or if there is more than meets the eye.
Cleo was a bit shallow and not my favorite female lead from this series so far, but as the story continues you see her grow and learn to take things head on.
Antony sees himself as less and stays in the background because of it trusting in the others to figure things out, but as the story continues you see him step up and take the lead.
We see more of the storyline and the characters we've come to love while seeing a new couple find each other. The story really ramped up to the next level and I can't wait to see what happens next!
