Let’s start with the positives about the Clever Fox Budget Planner & Monthly Bill Organizer.
The Pros
• The front and back covers are very sturdy, so far, no smears or cracks, good platform to do all your writing.
• The are 12 sections for a full calendar year for each month of the year. Each month has a blank calendar to fill out manually, which also includes the goals for that month, a tiny section for a checklist, and the monthly income and savings goal (each month does have pocket-to-store paper).
• Each monthly section has a separate section for your expenses and has the most common categories with two columns for what you budget and what you spent. At the bottom of your budget sheet is one row for your total budget amount.
• There are four full pages of expense trackers! Plenty of lines that should cover the entire month
• At the very end of the planner are pages to track your savings and debts (credit cards, etc.), the holiday budget section that mirrors the monthly sections. More sections of your regular bill tracking and a section for a yearly summary.
• At the very end are blank pages for more random stuff to write. Also, the best part is the fun stickers you get!!! (They can be a challenge to get off due to their size.
The Cons
• The spiral that holds the planner is sturdy but big and awkward. I find myself flipping the planner halfway so that I can write closer to the middle.
• I believe some of the end sections like the savings tracker and debt tracker could be combined with the monthly sections, saving some space and time getting to these sections.
• The monthly folders are nice and if some sections towards the end could be combined throughout the planner would make them not stand out much.
You guys decide, but overall an upgrade to what I’ve been using before is a nice combination of everything you need to positively master budgeting overall.

***Update 1/9/23** Another feature the planner could have to improve is a section for appointments; I did not see a section during the 12 calendar sections to include lines for recording appointments; which is a bonus for success...
