“A delightfully-fun romance full of hope and healing that is sure to bring laughter, tears, and a reminder of the true meaning of Christmas.” —T. L. Gray, Kindle bestselling author
“It’s impossible to read A Cliché Christmas without wishing for snow, thinking of mistletoe, and longing for small-town life. From tear-your-heart-out dialogue to heart-skipping romance, author Nicole Deese pens her stories in a way that will keep you turning pages and begging for more.” —Amy Matayo, author of The Wedding Game, Love Gone Wild, and Sway
"Nicole Deese won me over at fa-la-la-la. It isn't often that I laugh out loud when reading books. A Cliche Christmas was one of the rare few that earned that honor...and right from the beginning of the book. Georgia Cole, the main character, is downright familiar to me. The way she thinks, speaks, and behaves reminds me of a real woman with real issues: successful career vs. everything else? The character development and dialogue are always my main real considerations when I review books. Ms. Deese masters both of these with grace, wit, and a touch of sass. Needless to say, I simply loved this book and highly recommend it, not just for Christmas but at any time of the year." —Sarah Price, bestselling author
“A Hallmark movie in the making, A Cliché Christmas is a magical love story that is anything but cliché, dazzling readers with a truly delightful plot and characters who shine more than the twinkle lights on a tree. One of my favorite holiday reads ever!” —Julie Lessman, award-winning author of the Daughters of Boston, Winds of Change, and Heart of San Francisco series
"'Tis the season for some fun Christmas fare, and this book fits the bill. A Cliche Christmas is a page-turner with a wonderful setting, a brilliant cast of characters, and sigh-worthy scenes that will make you sleep deprived." —Jenny B. Jones, award-winning author of A Katie Parker Production Series
"This story is begging to be made into a movie and I have decided to officially christen A Cliché Christmas as My Favorite Christmas Romance of All Freaking Time. Yes, I love it that much—and I’m betting that you will, too!" —USA Today, Happy Ever After
About the Author
Nicole Deese is a lover of fiction. When she isn’t writing—or daydreaming about writing—she can be found curled up and reading on a sofa. She often fantasizes about “reading escapes,” which look a lot like kid-free, laundry-free, and cooking-free vacations. A girl can dream, right?
Her debut novel, an inspirational contemporary romance, All for Anna, has hit multiple milestones since its release in January 2013, including a 4.7 star rating on Amazon and more than 150,000 downloads on Kindle. She has since completed the Letting Go series and is elbow-deep in a new series featuring both sisterly love and swoonworthy romance.
Nicole lives in Frisco, Texas, with her hunk of a husband, Tim, and her two rowdy boys, Preston and Lincoln.

Plain and simple, I LOVED this story. This was a delightful, funny and charming holiday read. Georgia is a writer, who specializes in cliche Hallmark Christmas movies. She's stubborn, witty, goodhearted and vulnerable. I related to and loved her. And Weston James is such a swoon-worthy hero. It's impossible not to fall for his charms and kindness. The leads had great chemistry, with their bantering, history and heart-to-heart moments. In addition to a great plot and a book debate on a beloved classic (be still my bookish heart), the secondary characters shined with their individual personalities coming through. The spiritual message of love was beautiful, too. I am definitely gushing over this book, but I can't help it. Whether during the holidays or the rest of year, I will be sure to read this book again! Highly recommended!

Coming back to her Oregon hometown to direct an original stage production on behalf of a very sick child, Georgia Cole comes face to face with the past in the form of her charming nemesis, Weston James. Living in California as a successful playwright, Georgia has managed to push memories of her childhood confidante aside; his stinging betrayal having severed what Georgia thought was a special friendship. As Georgia and Weston now work side by side to bring a little girl's dream to reality, another dream begins to form. Demanding courage that Georgia never knew she had, will she replace her fear of failure with the gift of faith?
It's going to be a very special Christmas in Lennox, Oregon, thanks to the talented Nicole Deese!
This author was recommended by a favorite author friend of mine and so I had to check her out. I'm so glad I did. This book was sweet, romantic, and enjoyable. The characters, while flawed, had depth and were likable. The author did a great job of painting the surroundings so that I felt a part of the story. There was a thread of faith woven throughout the story, but it fit perfectly with the plot. The title fit the book well since it seems so full of cliches. But for some reason this was cute and didn't annoy me. Now I'm off to read her second book which takes a secondary character from this book.

Nan coaxes Georgia into producing the towns' Christmas production and while getting started she bumps into an old friend, Weston James. They grew up together as best pals. She always loved him until he broke her heart by making her look foolish in front of the town. She had never forgiven him.
Weston had never forgotten Georgia. He had always secretly been in love with her. He's a teacher at the local school but also a very handy carpenter and he's employed to build all the sets for the production.
It's a small town, they cannot not regularly bump into each because of the production.
It's a charming story with 2 wonderful lead characters. Weston is, well, pretty much perfect. I love his passion for Georgia and his intentionality about loving her and caring for her. Georgia is very good too ... she has a vulnerability as a result of some abandonment issues with her mom.
Nan is a good foil and a great cheerleader of both characters.
It's a tremendously satisfying Christmas romance.
