5.0 out of 5 stars By FAR the best bang for the buck!
By S. Asher on April 6, 2018
I wrote a glowing review for our 9x14 around August of 2017, but it appears to be missing here. This one is an update: We have lived with our Climapod since last growing season. Here in Montana, we have high winds nearly all the time, and a very heavy snow season this year. Thought we were out of that 10 days ago but now it dumped on us again in April! That Global Warming is really NOT heating up our winters. Anyway, even with the very heavy snowfall and winds, so far the Climapod product has shown no signs of wear or damage. There were a few days last August during biblical summer storms complete with hail where I literally stood by the back window watching the 70+mph winds shaking and twisting those four open roof vents so badly that I thought they would surely be torn off and relocated somewhere in Wyoming, or at the very least never close again. To my utter and absolute surprise, all four vents remained 100% intact and still work fine even after being open and exposed to our high wind winter days, all winter now. Although I wish I had an easy way to close them down during that kind of weather.
Although NOT as easy to assemble as the videos may appear to show, the learning curve is really not that steep once you get going. In the end, the design is very stout and great looking when finished, and our plants never grew so fast and remained virtually undamaged. For years we used our homes large deck to grow all plants due to the heavy plant-preditor problems we have in MT, even then, the deer would come on the deck and eat it all down. Last year the deer and the rabbits stood outside the Climapod looking in. Best investment in our sustainability yet.
As of last week, upon my off-season inspection, the only issue I found was that two of the Auto-opening pistons for the roof windows came loose and dropped their bolts and washers on the floor due to the constant winds shaking the open windows during all sunny days. Yes, even during our below 30-deg days here, the Climapod interior was over 70 degrees many times which caused the vent windows to open. The issue was easily fixed. My suggestion to all Climapod owners would be to add a drop of "Loctite" thread lock to the lower bolts on those Automatic-opening arms. I added a picture here showing which parts came loose.

I just found out that Climapod is about to start offering 7-foot extension kits! This is great news since we already wanted to add another 14-foot or more. Now, these extension kits will allow us to utilize all the ground we previously designated for this project and give us the time to add those sections incrementally out to 28ft for less $$ than another 9x14 kit.

Customer service with Ilia, who I believe is the owner, has always been great. And yes, obviously we would buy again from Climapod.

NOTE - A suggestion for Climapod: Find a solution that would allow Climapod owners to manually over-ride the vent window Auto-opener pistons when required. This will allow us to close the roof vent windows during storms or high-wind conditions, and also throughout the winter season when the vents do not need to be open.

5.0 out of 5 stars High-Quality Greenhouse
By Cynthia A. on April 20, 2016
We purchased the greenhouse in May 2015 after extensive research on what was available out there. The greenhouse is in northeast WA and withstood over 70 mile an hour winds over 2 days without any damage. It also held up fine with quite a bit of snowfall and extremely cold temps. I did remove the snow from the roof, as needed. Due to an unexpected illness, we needed to have the greenhouse assembled and the folks at Climapod arranged all of that for us. I have had a few questions about moving shelves and e-mail response is quick and always helpful. With a small radiant heater, I began using the greenhouse in March this year and started many flowers for my yard and peas are beginning to flower. We added grow boxes to the floor and were pleased to have an extremely long season of vegetables and mini melons. I recommend this product highly.

1.0 out of 5 stars The Greenhouse looks great in the picture but It has been a nightmare
By Alebelts on October 20, 2020
The Greenhouse looks great in the picture but It has been a nightmare since we ordered it and it has caused the biggest fight of 2020 between my husband and me.

This is our story:

We bought the greenhouse on August 13th and it was delivered on September 3rd
We started to put it together on the weekend and since we started we realized it wasn’t easy, the pieces weren’t labeled and the instructions were terrible (I have to mention that before buying it we read the reviews and we thought the people that were complaining weren’t handy I mean people complain for IKEA furniture which is not that difficult to assemble, also I have to say that my husband is a civil engineer and has renovated himself a couple houses)
The second day we realized there was something wrong with the sizes we got in the boxes so we messaged the company immediately and after insisting because the person that we were talking with kept telling us to read the instructions again we came to the realization that they had shipped us half of the kit for a 7x12 and the other half a 7x14 (we bought a 7x12)

The guy on the phone told us that we should have checked the name on the boxes when we got it delivered and basically try to blame us for the mistake and after a couple hours of texting we had to look on our trash and find the labels all under my husband name, we sent the pictures and he said that he will send the missing parts to assemble a 7x14 greenhouse but he wanted us to pay for shipping, I mean did I mentioned that we already paid over $2000? I had all my yard fill with parts, my husband that was helping to assemble was frustrated and moody...I honestly had never had that bad customer service in my life!!
After ignoring this guy phone calls, he shipped the missing parts.
When we got them came the second part of the nightmare because nothing lined up, the first day we started assemble it, we poured concrete on the ground to fix the base but with the wrong parts and a manual that is absolutely impossible to read unless you already had assemble one of these before we realized that panels and other parts had a size difference and at this point my husband was so annoyed that the “greenhouse topic” was a caused for arguing.
To put together this greenhouse that you see in the picture we had to cut several panels and used tape to close some unions but we finally finished and I can use it at least.
I would never recommend buy one of these unless you have already put together one and you have patience if something wrong happens in shipping, also this is a 2 or 3 people job, panels are sharp and hard to fit in the aluminum borders and forget about the poor instruction video that they have on YouTube it doesn’t help at all.
