Great information. I was a beginner to the industry when I purchased it about 2 years ago. It was helpful but a lot of the terminology was over my head. I still reference it from time to time. However, for my particular situation it wasn't the smartest of purchases. I had just started at an optometrist practice as a doctors technician with zero experience and wanted to familiarize myself with what I was doing. So, good book, not great for beginners.

It's okay for 1st year and 2nd year optometry, but by 3rd year you'll have outgrown it. If you want something that will be more useful, invest in Wills Eye Manual or Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary.
