If this wasn't well-written, it would be easy to shove this to the side and forget about it. But it is, and the more we learn about the MC, the more we find he isn't as one-dimensional and shallow as we were led to believe. As I understand it, this is set in a shared universe, with several authors setting their stories in the town of Heartsville. They're all standalone, with each telling its own story in the town.
Highly recommended, because I just loved Adam, what a gem. ENJOY !!!
This is another super cute story from Heartsville. This time Adam finally gets his man, the recalcitrant Brandon. I loved how they drew out the “dating” process and didn’t just jump right into bed with one another.
The first person POV was hysterical and I loved the idea of Adam carrying over his aunt’s vision. This was a very sweet book with a lovely HEA.
4.5 of 5 stars
That's a very typical scenario for this series, and it works, regardless of the author. Nice read, mild angst, stupid decisions, wonderful get-to-know-you scenes ruined by dumb interpretations--but there's always a HEA to look forward to.
On to the last one in the series.
