Never over-sleep again! Clocky is the alarm clock on wheels that runs away beeping! You can snooze one time, but if you don't get up, Clocky will jump off of your nightstand up to 3 feet high, and run around your room as if looking for a place to hide. You'll have to get out of bed to silence Clocky's alarm. Clocky beeps in an R2D2-like robotic pattern so that you are sure to hear him. He's kind of like a pet, only he will get you up at the right time! You can set Clocky to run away right when the alarm sounds, or set to snooze one time before he runs away. Clocky features a customizable snooze time up to 9 minutes long. You can also turn off Clockies wheels if you don't want Clocky to run away one morning. A backlight helps you see Clocky at night. Clocky is perfect for those of us who have trouble waking up in the morning! He is compact, clever, and playful. He will never cease to amuse you as you wake up in the morning. This is an authentic Clocky alarm clock by the original designers of the product, Nanda Home Inc.

I bought it for my sister who thinks it's cute during the day but doesn't like chasing it in the morning. I tried to capture her on video, chasing clock in a real live morning situation, but her words were "unkind" and not suitable for an Amazon review.
This makes a cute gift for the person who has everything but likes to sleep. I hope this video gives you a better idea of how cute this thing is. (Sorry for all the jiggling around. I really have to get a camera with some kind of stabilization feature).
I also keep him on the floor and across the room, not on my nightstand. I had him drop off the table a couple of times, but I don't know how much he can handle that every morning for years and the layout of my bedroom doesn't really work for him to run off the nightstand. But even without running off the nightstand, Clocky is good at what he does! I mean..I've even personified him. He's a him. That's how much I love him and how well he works. He's like a cute little alien that actually gets me up and out of bed for once. Clocky deserves a medal for that.
The sounds it makes are kind of adorable. I have mine set up so that I can hit snooze one time before it runs away. When it starts making noise on the nightstand it is pretty loud. I doubt I could sleep through this unless I was heavily sedated. After hitting snooze once it waits 9 minutes and then rolls off my night stand. It doesn't start making any noise until after it hits the floor, so I have never reached out and caught it before it gets to the floor. It forces me to get out of my bed which is good.
One time I just hit snooze a second time thinking it wouldn't go off again until the next morning. I had to get out of the shower and go shut it up because it obviously took off again and was under my bed going absolutely insane! I believe the noises it makes get louder and more obnoxious the longer you let it go.
As a bonus it also freaks out my cats sometimes so that is entertaining as well. One morning I woke up to clocky hitting the floor and my cat immediatly jumping off the bed and running out of my room.
