Editorial Reviews

Review

I've been a fan of Mr. Pascal's work for years. Most of his work that I've seen is well-written, well-conceived instructional material.

With Cloud King, he proves that he is every bit as skilled at fiction as he is with non-fiction.

As a 35 year old adult, I had a moment of hesitation picking up a book written for a younger audience. Once I started, however, I couldn't put it down.

And when I finished I went straight to the website CloudKingBooks.com to see if there are plans for another Cloud King adventure.

Mr. Pascal has created a truly wonderful work of magical realism.

The characters are well-drawn. The setting is informed by experience and keen observation.

The lore and mythology that Mr. Pascal creates are intensely believable--so much so that I was tempted to go outside and try creating/controlling the weather the way the characters in the story do.

I heartily recommend this book to all audiences.

And I look forward to the Cloud King's next adventures.
