Adhesive is not that good but seems to work on straight and flat surface only.

It does not survive rain or sunlight heat in the summer. Although I cleaned all surfaces this was going to be applied to with 91% isopropyl alcohol, the weather stripping started peeling off 3 weeks later in some sections around bends. On a perfectly straight flat surface these may work well enough but around bends like on car doors they did not. Also do not use this in places that are visible because the adhesive changes color from gray to ugly yellow/brown as it ages and is exposed to heat, rain and dust. My car is a very dark shade of brown and the surface heats up in the summer sun and I assume this is too hot for the adhesive to survive in my application which is sealing around the trunk door and hood. If this really is 3M adhesive tape then it is fake but I am not 100% sure as I bought 4 different weatherstripping and I did see 3M backing on the adhesive on one or more of them. So do not assume it has 3M adhesive tape. The price was not too high and this product is not total crap but like I said it may not stick in areas that are not straight and flat.

Quick installation and strong adherence

This is just what I needed to replace a lost seal on the doors of an enclosed utility trailer. I allotted an hour for the installation (two doors) - it took (maybe) 15 minutes. I cleaned the door frames with brake cleaner and a shop rag (literally sprayed and wiped as brake cleaner evaporates very quickly) - followed with the weather stripping. It went on like a charm and has great adherence. I had to repair two doors to do so I ordered two rolls - had a little left over and I’m sure i will find a good use for that.

Works like a charm I used it to double down on my factory rubber strip. Used this on the metal area where the factory strip makes contact. My doors are very soft and slammed every time someone closed them now they sound like a luxury car.

I did two doors with probably 70% coverage and still have a significant amount of this strip left.

Good adhesive: it has been 4-5 months (mostly winter) and the adhesive is still strong.

I used this to replace seals on the door of my RV. The hardest part of the job was removing the old seal and adhesive. The new seal came in two16ft pieces more than enough for my door. No more daylight showing at the door corners! We will see if the two sided tape holds up to the hot weather in the summer.

Totally useless for a car

Would probably work OK for a window or door etc (obviously designed as such but sold as "car" weather stripping).

Will not last more that 2-3 months on a car, the adhesive is clearly cheap stuff unsuitable to withstand water or air pressure on a moving car. Renewed 3 times, cleaned with IPA, even tried adhesion promoter - just useless. Buy for a window or door, but not for a car. Actually, don't buy at all and find a better quality product. Seller is also ignoring messages so non-existant customer support for a crappy product, what's not to like... :D
