Sharon wrote the story Clouds of Heaven, Beings of Light, to share her personal experience of heaven, which she calls our true home. As the pages unfold, Ms. Casey paints a descriptive picture of heaven, including a festive celebration in heaven, amazing spiritual beings of light, structured features of profound symbolic value, and Jesus. In addition to these descriptions, she weaves personal stories of growth. She also references the teachings of Jesus, including the Gospel of Thomas (a favorite of mine) and A Course in Miracles (which I will soon read). Either directly or indirectly, Ms. Casey tackles the central questions of existence, including unity, time, love, and ultimate meaning. When I read her book, I think, "Wow, my life makes sense!" I think others will come to the same conclusions as well, given that Sharon Casey serves humanity as a true ambassador from heaven.
I will finish with a quotation that poses an important question for reflection. Casey asks, "What if by judging yourself, you have judged the whole world? And by forgiving yourself, you have set the world free?"
Like many of us, Sharon Casey made life choices that would not end well if unchecked. Fortunately, when she heard the voice of God, she listened.
This is really two stories. The first is a personal and frank telling of someone who longed for love and a good life (something that is universal to us all) but found instead she was trapped in a life of drugs and abusive relationships; then though small graces and mercies, her transformation to healing and spiritual wholeness.
The other story is a rare blessing, in the form of a heavenly vision of God’s limitless love and grace for all of us. Her telling is vivid and clear, putting the reader in heaven with her.
I would love to hear more personal stories from this author; maybe in the form of a person online journal or personal insights on her Facebook page. I think Ms. Casey has a lot more blessings to share.
