My bead weaving experience has been with less than $50 wooden beading looms. I was not happy with the "workmanship" of glue on the grooves/springs that hold thread and the different sizes of the grooves that caused the thread (warp) did not line up properly from either end of the loom. I have had good luck with Clover products for quilting and sewing, so why not try their plastic loom?
I am giving it a high marks for the excellent job it does holding the tension. Clover provides plastic "snaps" that hold the thread tension in place; I had to use tape on my wooden looms.
The loom comes with sturdy plastic pegs, warp thread stoppers (never realized how helpful these can be to keep threads in place when moving the loom around), beading needle #10, needle threader and non-slip strips for bottom of loom.
To date, I have successfully made several bracelets and will be attempting a necklace or two with it soon.
While I would love one of those expensive well-made wooden looms, this is the best less than $50 loom I have ever used.
The instructions are very helpful for those who would like to try bead weaving. There are many on-line videos to assist you on how to properly thread (warp) a basic loom - make sure you look under "bead weaving on a loom".

I have several looms and this was the third in my series of trial looms. I put it away after several frustrating attempts, but eventally read the directions and got the hang of it. I didn't find that it was cheaply made or over engineered. In fact, I love the little pins that are inserted over each side of the treads to hold them into place. The pins look a little like paperclips that have been unbent part of the way and they are inserted through holes on the side to keep the warps in place. The one thing that I didn't like was that the warp teeth weren't wider although you have two choices. Yes, I have figured out the work-around.

I encourage users to try longer pieces. (I am making one now that will be about 3 feet long and 25 beads long.) I have done this sucessfully by removing end pegsand rolling up the work on one of the warp bars as advised in the instructions. I am one of those people who "believes" that if I see something, I can make it, but with this loom I had to go to the paper. The instructions were clear and made sense, even if you just look at the illustrations.

I had gotten a loom with an instruction book, and it wasn't sturdy and was limited in size. This is wonderful. Can adjust for smaller or larger items. I have made several bracelets on it already and it doesn't move. I am thrilled to be able to make something in an afternoon using the loom versus doing it bead by bead by hand. Am just looking for patterns now to keep busy.

At first I was a bit uncomfortable with the loom because I had never used one before; but after practicing a bit, it was very easy. I've made so far 3 bracelets and am getting ready to start another. The loom is very sturdy and is adjustable to several lengths. It is well worth the money!

If you've ever beaded on one of those wire looms and gotten frustrated, you must try this. More like working on a real loom with fabric with all the capabilities to make it easier and more fun. Thrilled with this purchase.

This loom is adequate for small work. It doesn't expand to 10 inches like it says....best I got out of it was 8 inches. I found looms at beadandbeadlooms.com better for larger work. Since I'm working on dog collars, the clover was too small for me. Also, it had complicated directions for getting started (I'm a beginner), which baffled me. I don't go thru all that with the beadandbeadloom loom and have no problem with it. I've made 8 pieces so far and love looming.

This is idea for someone new to this craft. It really holds the warp and gives you enormous control. It is hard to learn and it is very rewarding. There are easy to follow instructions but there are better videos on YouTube.

It is pre-assembled and all the parts that you need can be snapped on and off easily.

Best loom on the market. I have tried the Jewel loom, which isn't bad, but wobbly and unsteady; the Beadalon loom, good for size 8/0 but very flimsy, Rick's loom, which was too confusing to set up & use; and even the Mirrix that costs $235.00 loom, which I sent back because it was just too much work, However, the Clover loom is the perfect size and the ability to adjust the size is really great. It sits nicely on my desk and doesn't move all over the place. I watched the You Tube video how to set it up and it was soooo easy. By far, my favorite loom. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this loom. I also bought the book with patterns which I think is worth buying
