its little hard to lock the thing but it is even SO MUCH HARDER AND TOUGHER to unlock it. I almost broke the key trying to turn to unlock this thing and it seems like it is almost impossible to unlock it once you lock it. Thank god I've tried it before I put it with my steering wheel on my car.. I would've been cutting some irons in my car to go to work.. I wouldn't recommend you buying this

Perfect for a manual transmission.
Hook to the clutch and the shifter in first gear to prevent the clutch from going in and the shifter from coming out of first. My truck requires the clutch to be pushed in to start, this will prevent that.

We used a different type of steering wheel lock from Brinks, one that goes directly to the steering wheel. Our car still got stolen because they pried it off. This one goes between the brake pedal and steering wheel, so they would have to cut the wheel or break the pedal before taking the car.
If they are really professional and determined with the right tools, nothing will stop them. This will however stop little hood rats from taking your car. Works perfect and is fast to put on. The bright red color also lets people know it isn't worth their time.

I ordered the Dr. Hook Steering Lock and received it promptly....It deterred a would be thief until the police got there. I was impressed with how tough this product was, even though the thief cut through the lock. It took him several minutes to break the lock & by that time, the police came and promptly arrested him! Anyways, I need another one to

For the price you can't complain much. It's a visible deterrent, which is why I got it. Gotta figure it's one more thing a would-be thief would have to deal with if they wanted to steal your car. That's one more thing that would make them want to move on to the next car. Do yourself a favor and take the keys to the lock WITH YOU. A lot of people leave them in the car and I'm sure thieves know that. If you're going to leave them in the car, hide them well. Don't put them in your glove or cup holder.

My car doesn't have the most modern up to date security system installed but ever since I bought this club I can sleep a lot better at night knowing my car (94 Integra )won't be jacked and helps deter would be thieves. Simply just hook around the brake and the other around the steering wheel when it's lowered all the way down and lock the club in and done. You get 2 keys for this thing so don't lose them. I keep one on my key chain and the other I keep at home in a safe place. If I had another car I definitely would buy another one.
