Plus we get to catch up with everyone from the previous books and get little teases for the next, yes it was a tease! Can't wait for more, I still have questions!!
William "Stone" Alexander has just recently been promoted to the head bouncer of Club Heat. He is excited about the chance to prove himself to his boss, Logan.
Miranda Stevens is Stone's girlfriend and she works at Millennium Marketing. Her latest client is Randall Higgins who owns a club that competes with Club Heat.
When Club Heat is vandalized it is apparent to everyone that Higgins has something to do with but they can't prove anything. When Higgins begins to cross the line with Miranda will Stone be able to keep her safe?
This is a great book with lots of intensity in and out of the bedroom!
I loved how protective Stone was of Miranda and in all honesty I love that he is a bouncer. There are not enough books with the main male character having a job like that. I liked how tight he was with his bosses and how they all came together when they recognized the threat that was out there.
Miranda was insecure and was scared of Stone working at the club with all the beautiful women. I think as a woman that is totally understandable! I loved the girls that Miranda worked with and how close they all were.
My one pet peeve was that I couldn't understand how or why Miranda kept working on the stuff for Higgins. He was such a psycho and there had to be a way to get out of the contract. I was shocked at how his goons went and it would give me nightmares!
I love how strong Miranda and Stone were by the end of the book but I know their nightmare is not over yet!!
I gave this book 4.5 stars!!!
This series keeps getting better and better!!! I fell in love with Sky and Logan, then Katie and Shane now Miranda and Stone. Each of their stories have their own tale to tell, but I think I Miranda and Stone's story, so far has been the one that I have been able to relate more too. I felt more with these characters, not only with emotions but the things they dealt with.
Miranda has worked hard for Millennium Marketing Firm, and is thrilled when a client asks her by name, but it doesn't take her long to realize there is something fishing going on. It's just not the sleezeball that has hired her, but something....she just not sure what.
Stone has just become the head bouncer at Club Heat...Logan's newest club. Him and Miranda have been dating for awhile and he feels she is the One! When the sleezeball decided to put his hands on my girl, I was there to save her. Now I won't let her out of my sight. What happens when his club and girl are both in danger, can he save both?
I found this book easy to devour, I felt the ending left us with a opening to the next book, so I can't wait to see what Ms. Mello will give us.
Every time I think that I have finally decided on a favorite couple from Alison Mello's books, she goes and creates another duo that grips my heart and won't let go. Stone and Miranda work for rival strip clubs, so there's a bit of tension and jealousy between them. Stone is the head of security at Club Heat, and Miranda is the head of marketing at Club Vixen. Miranda has an odd feeling from her boss, but she can't quite put her finger on it. Stone would do anything to protect Miranda, but worries that it may not be enough.
The passion was intense and the suspense was incredible! Can I have the next installment now?!
