Elaine and Henry Rochester remain on the island and try and stay away from William/Judas who is after his treasure.
Yet soon another ship arrives on the island under Captain Scarlett who is after William but also seeks his own prized treasures. Will Elaine help Captain Scarlett in order to escape from William or is the price to high?
Wow the conclusion definitely has many twists and turns that I never saw coming.
I felt super bad for Elaine with what she had to do with Captain Scarlett as it totally went against everything she believed in but she also knew that her only way off the island was through Captain Scarlett. Yet it also then had me wondering why the group of Frederic, Henry, Elaine and Lousia just didn't take William's boat.
I wasn't expecting the stuff between the two captains but I was definitely glad that Jade had her revenge but again I'm confused on how and what really happened there.
I was sad with what happened with Henry's parents place but was glad everything worked out with he and Elaine. It was weird knowing that Lilly was at home the entire time and I didn't know who she was with and I found it odd that it wasn't mentioned in book 2 the first time Elaine and Henry were together.
I'm glad that Frederic was able to get his life together and at the end figure out what was important to him!
This book had lots of mystery and intrigue and really made me wonder if the author is planning more books.

Book 3 in The Island Series picks up right where Book 2 Island Smile left us.
If you have read all of the books but this one you absolutely must finish the series to get so many answers.
Henry is your leading man in every book but honestly I didn't think he was Alpha male enough.
Elaine is your leading lady in the Series and she is a strong confident Lady.
This last book centers more around
Frederic and Louisa. How their Love grows but Frederic is determined to be the bigger man and stay away from the love of his life.
Then you also have them all stuck on the island with Judas the Crazy Pirate. Then we meet the very dashing and Charming Captain Scarlett. There's Secrets about him and Judas. Also a very big secret between Elaine and Captain Scarlett.
Ms. Lindsay you have once again reminded me why I started reading. It is always a honor to read for you!!! Much Love!!!
Written By Lindsay Marie Miller
This is the third and final book in the Jungle Eyes Trilogy. Coastal Spirit picks up right after we are left in the cliffhanger of book 2 Island Spirit. We find out the fates of Henry, Elaine, Louisa and Frederic.
I enjoyed the book, again another fast quick read from Ms. Miller. I have to continue to keep in mind that this would NOT happen in real life, so once I kept that in mind I was able to continue to enjoy the story. I do have to say that she FINALLY answered my questions about who was taking care of Lillian while Henry and Elaine were trapped on the island again.
Ms. Miller does well in descriptions, and the story moves very fast. The chapters are quick reads and she continues with the alternating point of views. After reading all three of these books, I am finally catching on to how she does her point of view switches, so it wasn’t as bad for me in this book. She threw in some plot twists which were pretty good. I didn’t see them coming so that was great since the rest of the story was VERY predictable.
I still don’t care for Henry all that much… But you can’t love every character right! I was happy with some of the questions that she resolved (Not putting them in here because I don’t like spoilers). The only big complaint that I have is that the book just suddenly ended. I feel that there should have been more there, but maybe she is going to break this into another series? I don’t know, I just feel that there wasn’t enough closure in the book for this to have been the final book of the trilogy. Here is hoping that she releases a novella or something answering some of these questions!
Overall, this was a cute, fast series to read. Nothing too graphic in any way. Just a sweet romance, with some action, and mystery thrown in. I would recommend these series for someone that is just wanting a pure fantasy story that would never happen in real life. A good book to read on a rainy day and dream of happily ever after.
