I received a defective product
Only used once. I was in the middle of a bigger project and went through 1-2 glue sticks with no problem. Then all of a sudden the trigger stopped pushing the glue forward. After several tries of twisting the glue and pulling the trigger to potentially loosen a clog, I heard crackling and then pools of glue started spitting out the back of the gun. I really have no clue what caused this to happen. I'm willing to give it one more try after exchanging because it worked well for the first few minutes and has good reviews, so I may have just gotten a defective one. I really like the silicone finger protectors that it comes with.It was a bit unsteady with the full glue stick inserted, but was more stable as the glue stick got shorter.

I like it so much I am buying my daughter-in-law one and having her pitch her old one. I also liked that it came with 2 finger protectors, 10 long gluesticks, and a file. I had everything I needed to start my project. As you can see after 30 minutes of using no glue drips.

I've never had a glue gun before. I bought this one and within the first 20 minutes of opening the box I had fixed 2 pair of shoes and a two pairs of moccasins. The gun works exactly as described and the instructions are legible and understandable if a bit humorous with the English translations. I didn't use the included silicone fingertips until AFTER I had burned my finger accidentally with a bit of hot glue. I *highly* recommend using the fingertips. I wish they included 4, but two work. The glue flowed nicely, but you need to wait 5-10 minutes for the gun to heat up the best. Using the 100w setting really gets the glue flowing nicely. I'm really glad I bought this unit.

I purchased this glue gun after several inexpensive mini glue guns fell apart or stopped working. I was hoping the extra money I was spending would be worth it. This glue gun far outperformed all the others. It heats up quickly and has a power light so I know it’s on. The trigger actually works and the glue is hot enough to hold things together. I have only used it on the lower setting and have found it adequate. It leaks a bit from the nozzle while it’s plugged in but I haven’t ever had a glue gun that didn’t do that and keep an old ashtray under it.
