I do love luv my radar detector it is awesome for the Basics of what it does! Comparably the android app also provides the service aurora which i was unaware of at the time i bought this! And since then they have released three newer models that are looking epic and still provide lifetime aurora use. They are the Cobra iRadar series 100, 200 & the newly Cobra iRadar ATOM which now what i want in replacement! Thing about these three had i known is they update the aurora database through your 4G connection and all sorts of rich features on the android app! I love that! this model when you like and update if you haven't lost your cable that came with it just plugin to your car and Walla it will find the installed cobra update and disconnect it self right afterward. Not sure why amazon hasn't updated or why cobra hasn't put the newer models on the site yet but they should I'd buy again! Let me follow up here! This one is very nice clunky compared to any of the android versions, manual aurora updates etc.. pitch your cash for an android model! Goto cobra.com and look what they have before you buy! This one is great on all accounts though it does have a really short range compared to other models though not sure if the android ones are just as limited according to reviewer they have longer range! Hopefully you all will do your research i should waited just a wee bits longer! I have people offer me money for this thing all the time though. Maybe i just might one of these times take someone up on it!
