Don't waste your money

I bought these to go along with the cobra walkie-talkies that I already had. Once I turned them on and tried to connect with our other radios all you could hear was squealing.

I put in top grade batteries and went through an entire pack of 36 in about 2 weeks. If I would have continued using this product then the batteries would have cost me more money than what I paid for the radios.

I got about a month's use out of these walkie-talkies before we decided we needed to spend another $50 on better walkie-talkies.

I've learned my lesson. Don't buy cheap cuz it will cost you in the end.

Great radios

They work. There isn't much more to say. They are basic radios that use 3 AAA batteries each. The batteries last a good while and they sound pretty clear. We used them in Yosemite National Park where we were maybe about 8 miles apart and could still hear each other.

We have yet to use them,(except from one end of the house to the other), but should come in handy when hubby gets back on the bike/walking trail. He had a stroke in December and is slowly recovering and getting outside the house, but I need these for my own peace of mind.....along with his safety. Sorry I'm so late in responding, I feel like we are living in a nightmare! The package was shipped quickly, I'm so thankful for on line purchasing, I couldn't run all over town looking for these. JJ

i bought these so that my buddy and i could warn each other when dove were flying in each others direction and we could be ready when they flew over,havent missed any with these babies,i dont know how far they get out because im only using them about 1/4 mile apart,but they do what i bought them for

Battery Does Not Last!!!

The battery gets eaten up almost immediately, and you can barely hear the other person on the other end of the walkie talkie. Waste of Money and the on button is so sensitive if it is in the trunk of the car and you go over a speed bump they turn on and drain the battery some more!

Amazing range and clarity

We let our kids run around the apartment complex as long as they have these on them. The batteries don't drain too quickly and the sound/range is good for keeping track of my young-uns.
