I add the veggies I like to saute, then add the paste, then chicken broth, and either chunks of chicken or shrimp, and some coconut milk.
The heat is... if you like hot spicy at the Thai restaurant, you’ll enjoy this. I’d say it is a medium high spiciness. To a moderate degree, you can influence the heat by adding less or more paste. If you still need heat, you can slice up fresh hot peppers to add in.
This paste transforms a plain broth into a tasty Thai broth. Add lime and lemon juice at the end with some coconut milk and fresh green herbs (basil, cilantro).
