I gave these to my hubby in his Christmas stocking and he loved them. Great recipes, great info, and the cards themselves are sturdy and waterproof. Highly recommend.

Q) Who would benefit from this product?
A) 1) Anyone who drinks mixed drinks and likes to make their own cocktails.
2) Bars with poorly trained or new bartenders.
While the recipe cards are great and high quality, I think the real value come from the five other cards that came with this.
They explain how to read the cards to get the most value and how to build your own bar up.
While most folks would say this is good for the couple who likes to entertain on the weekends, I'd say that bars would get the best value from this. Almost all the bars where I'm from would classify as "dive bars" they have all the main spirits, but very few of the essentials to make REAL cocktails. EVERY full size liquor bar should be able to make the classic recipes that come with this set.
Sadly most bars know very little about cocktails outside of long Island ice tea, whiskey and ginger or vodka and soda.
I asked for a classic daiquiri at a bar once and I was given rum and orange juice with a spoonful of sugar stirred in. Pathetic! When I inquired about it, I was told, "Google said it was light rum, with citrus and sugar" This card set behind the bar would have saved the bar from lost business!
Do I think this set is worth it? ABSOLUTELY!
Do I think that it's worth the price? For a bar, absolutely!
For folks who throw parties and entertain others? Absolutely.
If you have very little interest in building a bar and just like the one or 2 cocktails you make from time to time, then it probably won't be worth it to spend $40 for this.
But come on...It's only $40!
