Often referred to as "Full-City" or "Viennese" this roast is sometimes preferred as an after-dinner drink. It is roasted slightly longer for just the right amount of hearty, full-bodied taste. Cafe Altura Coffees are shade grown on small family owned farms that choose to grow coffee organically without harmful chemical fertilizers and pesticides. The farms are located in the Sierra Madre Mountain range of Mexico and Central America at altitudes above 3000 feet. Cafe Altura coffees and all aspects of processing are certified organically grown. BREWING SUGGESTIONS: - A filter drip system is the recommended method of brewing. - Cafe Altura is pre-ground for your convenience. Our all purpose grind is suitable for all brewing methods. - Use filtered or spring water. - Measure two level tablespoons of coffee. Adjust for taste preference. - Remove spent grounds immediately after brewing to prevent bitterness. After opening, reseal package and store in refrigerator or freezer.
