Wow ... this stuff is life-changing.

I normally like my coffee black, but this stuff has transformed my coffeeing habits. I pour tons of it in the bottom of a mug (about as much as can possibly dissolve in the coffee), pour the coffee on top aggressively (to reduce the need for mixing), and enjoy. It probably can no longer be called coffee at that point. I think it tastes like one of those expensive fancy pants "italian beverages" that people richer than me buy every morning. But I don't really know because I am not affluent.

And if you buy 6-packs of CoffeeMate on the Internet, you probably aren't either.

Nothing beats Coffee-Mate regular powder!

I'm so happy Amazon got this in again, finally! Coming in a 12 pack sold by Amazon itself, eligible for free super saver shipping, and shipped in a firmly packaged plastic wrap covering all 12 canisters, it just makes it so convenient to have it shipped to me in bulk and I know I have plenty on hand for a while. I've been a fan of the regular Coffee-mate powder since the early 1970's and nothing seems to be able to compete with it. Even though I've tried the other flavors and the liquids Nestle also makes, and likewise tried other brands, I always come back to this Original Regular Coffee-Mate Powder and believe it will always be my preference for a really rich and flavorful addition to my coffee. Very smooth and blends well, and is shelf stable, which means less trips to the grocery store for me. One of my favorite products that makes for a happy life!

Makes coffee taste very good.

I like my coffee creamy not to the point where it turns white but just enough to lighten the darkness so that the dark liquid starts to look like caramel in color. Coffee mate is perfect because it does the job very effectively and it has a nice taste as well. This is a good option for the lactose intolerant.
The subscribe and save option brings the price down to 5.35, which I think is probably the cheapest for a container this size.

There are certain things that I feel should be considered for people drinking this stuff.....

One teaspoon has about 10 calories so if you are like me who puts a table spoon that is 30 calories. I mentioned this because I drink 3 cups of coffee every day- the calories can add up pretty fast.
Coffee mate also contains trans fats - one of the ingredients is Mono- and diglycerides - these are agents used to extend the shelf life and we also see them in foods which have trans fats, which have been bad. It also contains hydrogenated fats which is linked to heart disease. Incidentally the European version is sold without this ingredient.

My brother calls me "SKINNY FAT." I'm a skinny dude with a fat belly. How ironic. And I know which company to blame.

I quit drinking starbucks when I figured out that 500 calories every day X 7 days = a pound of fat I was putting on to my sinewy frame.

But with the Sugar Free Coffee Mate, my woes are forever gone. This sugar free substitute comes to my rescue each morning in the form of a wake-up hot coffee, and then followed up 2 hours later with a home-made Al Pacino Frappuccino.

Here's how I do it:

Take 1 teaspoon of this chocolate version and place it into a jumbo coffee cup.
Take 1 tablespoon of the French vanilla and do the same.
Pour in about 1/4 cup of scolding devil hot coffee into the cup and mix quickly.
Throw this bad boy into the freezer for about 2 hours.
2 hours after having my hot coffee, I go to the freezer to retrieve this heavenly libation.
Take out of freezer
Add crushed ice to the top
Fill to the top with almost milk
Bam! Done. Lots of calcium and low calories. Delicious!

Great French Vanilla Flavor Additive

I am deployed in Afghanistan and myself and the soldiers I support like the taste of this coffee creamer very much.
This is easily the most popular favored artificial creamer enjoyed by all and I highly recommend it. I actually like
stirring this powdered artificial creamer into coffee while the coffee is very hot so it will dissolve well; then I just let the coffee with the dissoved creamer in it get cold in the refrigerator before I drink it as "ice coffee". It tastes great!

If all of our creamers or coffee flavorings were rated by their good-for-you factor, we would probably have to stop drinking simple coffee to begin with. (I've also used the sf vanilla syrup, which doesn't have the same creamer effect; to achieve that you'd have to add another dairy product, which defeats the purpose for some specifically restricted diets like mine.) (I don't have to worry about fat content, though.)

On my planet, I'm just really happy to have found a sugar-free alternative to the coffee creamer I thought I'd have to give up forever. The powdered form guarantees that I can take this to work without having it stolen from the community refrigerator (and for the fat-conscious people who don't want to give up their creamer, there is a lowfat/fat free version out there). The sugar free version doesn't stray too far from the original vanilla Coffeemate. The only complaint I have is that Amazon doesn't carry the SF liquid vanilla version that I can keep at home.

Coffee in and of itself can be a guilty pleasure (caffeine, added sugar, dental stains...); I would recommend this product to anyone who wants the effects of a regular powdered creamer who has very strict natural sugar limits.
