This is not a glass mirror. It is aluminum.
That means it won't break in your bag. It also means you will be looking at a metal reflection which is not as crystal clear as a glass one. Don't get me wrong there is a good reflection, good enough to see clearly to shave and comb.

I now have three of these. They're great inexpensive small mirrors to keep around. Incredibly lightweight, too. There's not really any distortion unless you bend it. I've attached a photo showing a reflected grid -- any waviness appears to be just the waviness of the paper it's printed on (I tried to smooth it out as much as possible).I've also attached a photo of the back of the mirror in case anyone was interested in what that looks like; it's a protective fabric or paper backing. It peels up pretty easily, so I think it's just a protective backing left over from production, but I'm keeping it on there for protection (if you peel it up it's a smooth grey backside, which may be the intent, but might make it more prone to scratching).
